I've been using Firefox for decades without any problems. Still on Windows 10. The last update 'made' my bookmarks 'disappear'. I can see all the backups, but somehow they can't be reloaded. Worse, can't even reload my own earlier backup (HTML format). I've tried all available tricks to no avail.

All of my bookmarks have been erased. It says the file is being used by another application. I have looked at the help section but the options they give does work.

My Bookmarks are missing. I see backups under the profile/bookmarkbackups folder but when I manage bookmarks, they are not in the restore dropdown. I have followed the steps to delete the places.sqlite but when I reopen firefox, I do not see the bookmarks have been restored. I thought it might have been related to Norton Utilities so I renewed a subscription but no luck. I also have a json file with my bookmarks but I cannot choose it from Manage Bookmarks, either

I was just on a tech help support call and the tech person rebooted my firefox and lost my access to my most recent browsing history. Is there a way that I can still restore the lost history? It is not showing up in the History section anymore.

Suite à la mise à jour de Firefox avec l'arrivée des nouveaux profils, j'ai perdu tout ce que j'avais enregistré sur ma session : tous mes mots de passe, mes marque-pages ainsi que les données de mon compte. Impossible de les retrouver ou de récupérer les données de mon compte initial. Je ne comprends pas ce qu'il s'est passé et surtout, j'aimerais savoir comment faire pour récupérer mes mots de passes et marques pages qui ont disparus ??

I've followed the directions I've found in looking for answers to this, and they haven't worked. My bookmarks haven't appeared when I switched between 2 profiles and nothing has appeared when I went to the Library and tried the various restoration options. I also can't bookmark any webpages since I've lost my bookmarks. I'm using this in Windows 11. Ccleaner found 19 GB of system files that it didn't name, and it wouldn't delete them, so the bookmarks may still be there - I just don't know how to find them. Thanks for your help.

New computer upgrade from MS10 to MS 11 365. I lost all bookmarks for internet locations. How do I retrieve them? Where is the new bookmark access icon on the Firefox home screen?

After running a CCleaner health check on my computer I have lost all access to my bookmarks and the Fire Fox home page does not display my most visited websites as icons.

Ich habe versehentlich ein Passwort in dem Passwortordner gelöscht und benötige diese Passwort aber wieder. Wie komme ich an das Passwort wieder heran.

I recently lost all my data on my computer and after logging into my account, I couldn't retrieve my firefox data. I searched everywhere on my browser and couldn't find nothing to fix this.
