When I downloader the Firefox I then try tobrowse a company,etc a page comes up withFirefox logo and a line that has Google and the place for the url/ I cannot get the actual browser to open.

I was on a teams meeting because I wanted to do a study session with someone on another country. As part of the homework I needed to do, I needed to listen to some audio. I changed my windows audio devices to output through the Communications device for the headset. Then I played the audio on a tab. The audio played for a few seconds before stopping again.

I understand that this is behaviour intended to let you take a call or meeting without having to manually pause any open tabs you might not have at hand, but I would like Firefox to understand I really want that audio to play without thinking it knows better. Is there any way to disable this behavior?

I have a YouTube loading problem, it works on all other browsers except Firefox. When you go to the YouTube homepage, the whole screen is blank with black and grey colours, on the homepage no video loads, no words on the screen, no ads, just blank. it works like normal on Chrome,Opera,Internet Explorer.

I am on windows 8, all blockers are off, on the latest version 115.9.1. no other problems on my PC.

There has been this odd banner of scripts on certain web pages for a while now and I'm not sure what it is or how to stop it. I don't know what the problem could be.

In the past when I saw an article that I wanted to email to myself, I would click on the envelop icon and it would go to “choose and application to open the mail to link” I would choose if I remember correctly Yahoo and it would open up.

Now the only choice I have if Firefox, and when I click on it nothing happens. What is the problem?

Under”Choose other Applications”, there is nothing to forward that article to me.

Help me get my right panel, that dissapeard back to right side where it belongs. It Disappeared!!!!!!!!!!!! My screen is filled them links!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm 77 years old and have liked and used firefox for as far back as I can remember. I've read many posts that have said they have the same problem!!!!!!!! I really like Firefox and don't want to switch to another browser, but looks like me and many other dissatisfied customers to do also.

Please help me restore my browsing session :(

For the past several months I have been using Mozilla, and the feature to restore previous browsing session has always worked well. Even after I clear the most recent history or remove the most immediate cookies, this feature would still work e.g. after I restart my PC or just restart the browser. It would restore all the tabs I was using previously including the most recent tab I was on before the browser closed or restarted. However, this morning, I tried to clear my immediate browsing history as I usually do and the browser froze while I was in the process of clearing this immediate history (continuously displaying the pop-up window/interface for clearing history and not allowing me to do much else on the browser - I couldn't even click anything on the tab I was on, nor could I navigate to another tab and/or open a new tab; and only the close button, and maximize window button, and minimize window buttons were responding). After waiting for a while for it to start working again, I got frustrated and I closed the browser.

I then opened the browser again, but this time, it didn't restore the previous browsing session and didn't even take me to the last tab I was on.

What could have happened this time around? It has not behaved like that for this whole year.

NB: I have not done anything to the browser after opening it! I am still on the same page it landed on when I opened it (just in case).

I keep getting a 403 error message when trying to access the British Airways website. This is the first time I have encountered this, although it is perhaps 3 years since I last flew BA. I have cleared my cache and cookies. I have also tried to access the same ba.com site using Edge - with the same error message. This suggests that the problem may lie with BA. However, they have no technical support that I can reach. So I do not know what to do next. I use Kaspersky anti-virus and Malwarebytes to screen for malware. When starting a new firefox instance, it starts the window with the same size and position as the last instance had. However, when the last size stretched from top of the screen to the bottom, a new instance will always appear slightly shorter than the height of the screen, leaving a small gap between the bottom of the browser window and the bottom of the screen. The remembered size works perfectly for sizes less than the height of the screen.

The xulstore.json file is not corrupt, as I've tried removing it and altering it, resulting in the same issue. I have also tried changing the window height inside the xulstore.json file to larger than the screen size, and found that it get's cropped to slightly less than the window height, same as my issue above. This has led me to believe that when firefox starts a new instance, the size is cropped so that it doesn't extend past the screen borders. This is good, but the size it gets cropped to is clearly bugged, unless it's intended to crop to less than screen size.

I use a window manager that lets me easily snap windows to each other as well as to the screen borders, so firefox always leaving a slight gap when it starts drives me mad as I have to manually resize it every time.

I use windows 10, firefox 106.0 (64 bit), however I experience the same issue with both firefox developer edition and firefox nightly.

After setting Firefox as the default browser, every time I search on address, it opens Yahoo website instead of staying with Firefox. What else can I do to stop this from happening?

Hi, The DM has an annoying popup that only appears on the sports page ( which is basically the only page I actually read, the rest of the comic I just skim ). I've searched the web for a solution but to no avail, hence my asking here. I have the popup blocker ticked, but this annoyance just keeps on.

Hello! Upon searching on Google, Netflix on Firefox can have a max resolution of 1280x720p. But recently, I noticed while watching on Netflix that the video quality was really poor, so I checked the stream details and saw that the resolution was only at 960x540p.

I have tried to create a new profile in Firefox to see if there would be any changes in the Netflix video quality and there was -- it was 1280x720p on the newly created profile while on my default profile it just remains stuck at 960x540p. I could easily just change my default profile, but it is too much of a hassle for me 'cause I don't want to have to re-download all my extensions and lose my bookmarks. Was wondering why this happened and how I could fix this?

When I create a file to print in Firefox ( in this case from Etsy ) the preview looks ok but when the file is printed or saved as a PDF then the text parts of the file are ok ... but the images are much too large.

You can see this on the attached images ... how it should look and how its coming out!?

I can no longer log-in to sites that require Usersname and Password on my Mac. But I have no trouble using my iPhone to log-in using the ios Firefox and Firefox Focus. I tried clearing the history on my Mac and still no success. The error message I keep getting is "Could not process login". I know my username and password by heart and have had problem logging in before. Just recently in January 2023. I kept trying until I got locked-out. Please advise.
