replaced a windows 10 laptop with a Linux Mint 22.3 laptop. Used Sync to transfer profile to the new laptop. Logged into the banking account (BECU.org) successfully. When trying to transfer money from checking to savings, the transaction failed with a statement that the date was invalid. The date was valid. A separate Linux Mint computer that never had a windows profile synced does not show this problem. Disabling all extensions did not fix this problem.

I recently switched operating systems from W11 to Linux (Zorin), and installed a new copy of Firefox. I rely on local web pages I have written for some of my work, but the new copy of Firefox does not find the file. For example, when accessing an image, e.g., file:///magrathea/dmpase/home/index/coastal24.png, Firefox gives the message:
File not found Firefox can’t connect to the server at local file What can you do about it? Check to make sure you’ve typed the website address correctly.
The address is correct, that is, the file resides at: /magrathea/dmpase/home/index/coastal24.png and the user does have permissions to read the file. I've tried adding up to five '/' characters to the beginning, and I have turned off all of my installed add-ons, but without success.
An apparently related problem is that double clicking on a '.htm' file also changes the address, for example, from '/home/dmpase/Desktop/index.htm' to 'file:///run/user/1000/doc/f07a8988/index.htm'
And finally, the "Brave" browser is able to read the files with no errors.
How do I fix this for Firefox?

I often hit ^T (control-T) in firefox without meaning to, because I use that chord in other applications a lot. In firefox it opens a new tab, which is almost never what I want. I'd like to suppress that keyboard shortcut. I tried doing it using vimium (unmap <c-t>) but that has no effect.
Thank you, Silvio

Running Firefox in Kinoite - whenever I set a page to Reader view it is blank.
I have restarted in troubleshooting mode and it works, so I followed all the steps to try to identify what the problem is but nothing has worked.
I tried:
- Troubleshooting mode - worked - Disabling hardware acceleration - did not work - Disabled all extensions - did not work - Switched to default theme - did not work
Anyone any ideas?
TIA

I'm stuck in an endless loop in Firefox for Linux (MX Linux) whenever Cloudflare is used as security.
"Performing security verification
This website uses a security service to protect against malicious bots. This page is displayed while the website verifies you are not a bot."
I click "verify you are human" and it just loops back to the very same challenge. It isn't broken in other web browsers like Vivaldi for Linux. Or Firefox in Windows 11. Just Firefox for Linux.
It has been this way for months.

When uploading files with Firefox, I click the upload button, and the file browser window appears to upload files.
For as long as I can remember, it always defaulted to the last folder location that I uploaded a file, but just a few days ago, it stopped working, and always defaults to my home folder.
How can I make the upload window pop up, default to the last uploaded location? My OS is Linux Mint Cinnamon.

If I connect to some sites, such as signin.costco.com, www.tesla.com/modely, www.airindia.com, www.meijer.com, I get errors such as You don't have permission to access "http://www.tesla.com/modely" on this server. Reference #18.71951eb8.1774502305.1a7c7680 https://errors.edgesuite.net/18.71951eb8.1774502305.1a7c7680 You don't have permission to access "http://www.airindia.com/" on this server. The error appears invariant of my IP address (different IPv4 addresses after rebooting my router, or an IPv6 address via a proxy). I have Firefox 60.7.2esr and 78.5.0esr on an older machine. Those sometimes work to some of these sites, but don't support all the site functionality, e.g. I can't actually login to Costco. www.tesla.com/modely works in 78.5.0esr. The Firefox on my Android tablet works for tesla; I haven't checked all the other sites. In conversation with my ISP (Starlink) customer service AI, I have tried deleting cookies and disabling plugins (only H264 and Widevine) with no effect. It suggests there is a problem with Akamai fingerprinting the browser.
I get edgesuite errors using Lynx or elinkx or curl also

I like having the shortcuts to regular sites on the home page, but its usefulness is spoiled by every site I momentarily visit also appearing and replacing my pinned sites. This renders it basically useless. Can we please have a way of removing 'visited sites' from the shortcuts.
