I recently added ChatGPT as a search engine option. I tried to use the voice interface to simply ask the question instead of typing it out. An error message quickly appeared that stated "To use voice mode, you'll need to enable your microphone and try again." I could not find a way to grant this permission. The only setting mentioning "permissions" was in privacy & security. When I click on "settings" I receive the following message showing websites which have asked for permission so that I could choose to grant it or not, but, what it does not provide is a way for me to grant spontaneously if I choose to. ChatGPT has not requested permission so how do I, without a request from a site, choose to grant them permission to access and use the mic on the laptop so that I can simply talk to it?

Latest version of Firefox browser (142.1) recently installed on my laptop and desktop both running Windows 10. The former continues to support Flightradar 24. The latter no longer does. Message reads 'Unfortunately, your current browser does not support WebGL2 . . . most major browsers (including Firefox) do'! Is there a reason for this anomaly, please? Plus a solution? I've lost access to my [edited] @hotmail.com email address that is associated with this account, and I'd like to change my email address now before I'm locked it forever. This is the last computer that I have that is still logged in! It seems that to add another email address I need verification from my first email address, which I can not get. Please help! I don't know if your response to this help question will go to my Firefox account or my email, but if it goes to my lava950 email I won't receive it. i dont want to update because of ai. i am tired of updates in the name of security that change how program works. i do not plan to update anymore. i do not want ai to know my name. i dont want to click it away every day. i am tired of your update popup. tired of clicking it away ten times a day. you want to synch to my contacts. dont know why' certainly dont want it to synch, dont even use my calander but you want it to synch also. why? i came to you for a browser. do you have a secure browser that is just a browser? can you help me stop the update popup or tell me a browser that is not ai.

AI "summaries" or "explanations" have been popping up in front of actual useful text that I want to read. How do I disable this AI summarizer or turn it off? If this removes an AI chatbot, even better.

When I search a subject from Google, I want the search tab to remain, and for a new tab to open when I click on a link. I don't want to open the link through the same search tab.

After researching, I tried to go through about:config and I changed the browser.search.openintab to 'true' but when I search it opens through the existing search tab.

I hope I am explaining this coherently. Can someone please help me?

General / Startup / Open previous windows and tabs is set off; nonetheless it opens them.

This is on 142.1.0 64 bit Windows.

How can we turn it OFF?

I love Firefox and generally really appreciate the way y'all operate as a company and developer.

However, I really don't like this new function to add tabs to a group. Since it rolled out, I'm always adding tabs into groups when I don't mean to. Really, it's creating a group almost every time I move a tab around. If I delete the group, it's just more clicks and distractions to deal with.

In the past, when you've rolled out new features like this, you've also made it very easy to turn off any new feature we don't like. But I can't figure out how to turn this off. Is it possible?

Using Firevox 142.0.1 on a MacBook Air. I always have "Always ask you where to save files" checked in Preferences, but lately it sometimes fails to ask me. For example, if I try to download a file from Google Drive. Is anyone else having this problem? Is there something I can do about it?

When inserting text into the Firefox search bar, I am not able to dismiss the suggestions that pop up. I've tried disabling search suggestions (no luck).

These are things I don't want on my bar. Is there any way to remove them?

How to disable the auto-adding of shortcuts feature from history to home page? It's really annoying, when I want to change my pinned shortcuts, I have to delete all auto added shorcuts (Even when the items on the screen are finished, they keep appearing in front of me, and this takes a long time). It is a must feature I think.

All of my bookmarks are gone When i click on manage bookmarks it is empty. Ive tried the other things and I cannot get them back. And how do i prevent this from happening on another computer? And can i opt out of updates because it seems like they create more problems for me then what they fix

It will take hours and hours to  get the website back and change all the passwords
