Firefox version 132.0.1 Thunderbird version 128.4.0esr O/S: PCLinuxOS Debian Edition (Debian 12 Bookworm) with KDE 5

I am getting a "Click" sound effect when I click Menu Bar items in both Firefox and Thunderbird, Bookmarks in Firefox, Folders in Thunderbird and some other items in both. I can not find a way to turn it off. It does not happen in any other applications, including other web browsers that are forked from Firefox, so I think it is a Mozilla problem.

This is a relatively new installation that was set up copying settings from Firefox on Windows 10 using Firefox Sync. I did not copy anything from Windows Thunderbird because my email is IMAP which brings in everything from the server. I am not getting this clicking sound in Windows Firefox and Thunderbird.

I am GUESSING that the sound effect is due to an Accessibility setting that is buried somewhere, maybe in one of the text-based "about...." configuration files, but I don't know where to look. I have gone through the Linux KDE System Settings and the Settings in Firefox and Thunderbird several times trying to find it. I will note that I set up Firefox and Thunderbird in the same Linux distro on a laptop also using Firefox Sync and do not have this problem with the laptop. Can anyone tell me where to look to get rid of this irritating noise?

Yet Firefox in a recent update has now deemed it insecure and I cannot see how to fix this, despite clicking on the task bar padlock item and looking at the drop down items. This is most annoying. When I use Tik Tok in this browser , it's too late . Can you help me how can I fix it . I need to use my Tik Tok accounts cuz it's my business . I hope you will understand me and help me . If you don't mind , plz check my firefox account . Plz hurry up ! Although I have Google chrome , I use this browser cuz it's more easy to use . Don't distrubit to me . I've just downloaded the NASA'S EYES app to my Win11 system. My default browser is Firefox, with NoScript, ABP and Ghostery installed (yeah, that's probably overkill). When I attempt to launch the NASA app, it wakes up just enough to look for updates, shows me a startup panel, then that panel disappears. I gather there's supposed to be some sort of behind-the scenes linkage that's not working. How can I fix that? Do I need to shut down the add-ins?

Hi! I'm running Linux Mint right now, but this also happened on Windows, I copied the profile from Windows so I suspect that is likely why.

When I go to about:logins, I see none of the accounts listed. Even when I input a search in the search box, nothing. I don't know what could be causing this. See attached screenshots. Don't worry, there's no concern of leaking account details, because they aren't showing up.

HELP !!! I received an error notification "platform not compatible" . I reinstalled browser as recommended I lost all history , bookmarks and passwords. How can I recover lost information ?????? Please Help !!
