I'm using Firefox 104.0.2 (64 bit) under Windows 11.

Under Settings I have selected Startup Open Previous Windows and Tabs.

I normally have more than a dozen tabs.

For the past few days, when I start Firefox my previous session is not restored and I just get the single Firefox tab.

When I got to History there is no longer a Restore Previous Session option.

How do I get it back?

Trying to use ProctorU with Firefox 104.0.2 on Windows 11 Home, and I am getting the following message : "Monitor Count : You may only use 1 monitor during your exam. Your monitor count could not be found". I searched for possible fixes, and someone mentioned removing fingerprinters, and possibly also remove cookies and tracking content from Firefox enforcement. I removed all 3 and that did not help. I also tried clearing cookies and site data and also cached web content, this did not help. Is there some other setting in Firefox that might be preventing the detection of the monitor count? Any suggestions on how to fix this issue?

I need to exempt a site from the pop up blocker process. When I go to Privacy & Settings/Manage Exceptions, there is no text box or other way for me to enter the site. Am I doing something wrong or do I need to change some other setting to allow exceptions?

hello !, I formatted my PC and installed FF after that tried to log in but i forgot my password. so i changed it by using forgot password option. but then all my data(Bookmark , password, history...) didn't show up. i tried downgrading but still nothing. Please is there any way that i could get my former data back?

When I click the download button I usually see my recent downloads and click open the file directly from the drop down. After 10-20 downloads are performed the drop down no longer shows my recent files until I restart firefox. I think the issue is once you hit a certain amount of downloads the preview drop down no longer works. Is this a know bug? Its happening on any pc, im on version 104.0.2 (64-bit)

After the second to the last update to Firefox I started experiencing an information pop up message "Could not determine any profile running in backgroundtask mode!".

Is there a fix for this?

I can't find any way to add to the list of document types and applications. I know I must have done (because they are different from my wife's options), but now she needs to add one, and there is no immediately obvious way to do this. How do I add a new entry in the list in Settings/General/Files and Applications/Applications?

I have Ghostery installed and when going to a website the list of trackers Ghostery blocks shows up in the status block that Ghostery projects onto that web page. Then going to the security shield icon that Firefox has next to the 'Home' icon on the address bar, Firefox reports 'No trackers known to Firefox were detected on this page'.

Can someone explain the order of precedence for detecting and blocking trackers here? Does Ghostery intercept the web page load before Firefox analyzes the page for trackers? If Ghostery blocks trackers is this the reason Firefox does not detect trackers?

Running Firefox 104.0.2 on Windows 10 Pro - latest installed patches as of 9/21/22.

And finally does Ghostery (not running Ghostery Plus) keep a list of web URL and blocked trackers somewhere?

I have Firefox installed on Linux (Fedora), Windows, and macOS, and on Windows and Mac, I can use ctrl (cmd on Mac) + shift + Y to open the Bitwarden extension. On Linux, this instead opens the downloads library (which is normally ctrl + shift + j...). Is there any way to change the shortcuts on Linux to be the same as the other two OSes? Judging by the many many open questions on this site about changing shortcuts, I'm not holding my breath...

How do I sync between to laptops? I would like to sync my settings and bookmarks. QR code generation is ridiculous. I do not want firefox on my phone.

There was an issue with accessing the network for media playback. The sub-error code will contain what specific resource was unable to be accessed over the network. | NETWORK_ERROR encountered, code: 1400

This is only happening on desktop Firefox. Mobile device works fine.

youtube is the only site that streams properly(mostly), any other site gets stuck with 3 god dam dots in the middle. OTHER BROWSERS work JUST FINE. but I dont want to use internet explorer anymore. FF USED to work well.

some site literally just stop playing video. for 10+ minutes or until I intervene. if I copy the link and put it into edge it streams without issues.

internet, router, and pc are not the problem, I'm having a firefox issue. ive reinstalled the browser and cleared cache but nothing fixes streaming.

How can I open all my tabs from an old laptop to a new one automatically? I tried to look for any buttons, but did not find any other than having to do it one at a time

I was in my account on walmart.com earlier today. When I next tried to access it I was unable to get into the website using Firefox. Even if I simply type "walmart.com", it takes me to the log-in page but it doesn't allow me to log in. I can't even browse their website in Firefox. I restarted my computer (desktop), but that didn't help. I have always used Firefox to access Walmart. I tried my other browsers, and they work fine.

I got the message : "The address wasn’t understood Firefox doesn’t know how to open this address, because one of the following protocols (javascript) isn’t associated with any program or is not allowed in this context. You might need to install other software to open this address.". What to do ? (the same does not happen with Edge, for the same URL, in this case my personal account on the French ministry of finance...)
