Issue started a few month ago, tabs crashing 10+ times each day.

All my crash reports says "EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION_READ" but i dont know what is causing it, happens on multiple different pages

have many more crash reports, but dont know if that would help

Firefox indicated a new version was available and I installed it. After restarting the app, links will not connect and I receive this message.: Gah. Your tab just crashed. We can help!

Choose Restore This Tab or Restore All Crashed Tabs to reload the page/pages.

But nothing helps. I cannot reach most of the sites where I need to work.

Since around version 96 it seemed some new core changes made to how ff operates. any one care to share what the "big changes" were around that version rollout tldr?

since ver 96 ff became secondary browser. Using to test/isolate issues w/chromium (sigh). Now since ver 132 profile manager opens browser for correct profile everything looks good then 20seconds later ff crashes eorror: Exiting due to channel error

Inspiringly i see this forum is being used still so thought i would see if anyone has ideas what changes btwn ver 96/101 and 132 which may cause this new issue, maybe i can backout the changes and get back to using ff as a secondary backup again ....

IDK about anyone else but i LOOOOONG for the ole days when ff was a daily driver option on linux

The browser keeps crashing. I want to remove it from my Win 10 computer but uninstall only lets me do a refresh. I need to remove it to see if it is Firefox or some other issue. How do I remove the software?

For whatever reason every time 'Firefox' browser goes down my email shuts down also. This did not happen prior to trashcan Win!!(recently installed). It's a pain in the ass having to reactivate 'Firefox' then contact my email server to reactivate my email service. Any assist is appreciated. TangoYankee in advance.

I have Win 11 dell computer that does not play or pick up sound from web sites videos .I checked and tested my sound using the Microsoft platform & buy playing a disc. It works OK

'Some time ago I suddenly stopped being able to log into my Aetna health account on the Aetna web site. When I typed in my user ID and password I get the following message: "System temporarily unavailable. Please try again later." It's been like this since last March.

I just now tried logging in on my IPad and Microsoft Edge and had no problem logging with either one. This means that Firefox has to be causing the problem.

How do I fix the problem?

My GPU is the integrated GPU on the Intel U7-155H CPU. When some AVC videos are played, the browser reacts extremely slow and the video image is glitched and at a really low rate of frame, and the video decoding engine seemed to be 100% occupied as shown in the task manager (normal video playback never occupied so much of it). Seems like AV1 encoded video never triggered the problem. The problem doesn't always happen, but at a rather high frequency. This never happened before I updated the Intel graphics driver from 32.0.101.5972 to 32.0.101.6129. The problem seemed not to happen on other browsers such as Microsoft Edge.

Attempted to do an Firefox update more than a month ago on my HP (microsoft windows) computer. Everytime I open my computer I gt the Firefox Crash Reporter Window. When I hit the Quit firefox box it submits the crash report and then I X out the box. I cannot use Firefox as a browser. The DISASTER is that I CANNOT open any files previously downloaded while using Firefox (eg PDF files). I get the crash report box. I NEED these files!

Please HELP!

For many years, I have been exchanging video calls on Facebook.

Recent attempts to video call the same person I've been video calling for the past 3 years result in "your browser doesn't support video calls"

Have I been "hacked"?

My screen has been zoomed so I only see half of the email or image. Support at yahoo said that this is a Firefox issue. I would like to"unzoom" so I can see the full screen ar one time.

Over the past few weeks, tabs keep crashing several times a day. It happens most often on X, but this morning, a tab crashed while completing an online order (grrr). My computer is up to date, cookies, cache and history cleared regularly and today I "refreshed" Firefox. In less than an hour, tab crashed again. What is going on???

I'm very close to changing browsers.

Очень удобно... Если честно, то вы- пидарасы... Перед открытием браузера, после обновления, вы выкладываете вкладку об обновлении версии... Вы обязаны выкладывать ссылку на восстановление ранее открытых вкладок. Суки! Восстановите мои, ранее открытые вкладки!!

Endless crashes, going on for months (4-5) and no sign of any fixes. As far as I'm concerned, Firefox is totally broken and I'll have to switch away. It's unusable. A crash every ten minutes.
