I would like to install Cooliris (formerly PicLens) the website says it is suitable for FireFox but when I tried to download and install it I got told the my version of FireFox was not compatible.

This started after the latest security update for Firefox26 self installed. I have tried all of the suggested fixes; restarting in default mode, un-installing then re-installing the Ant video down loader etc all to no avail. How do I fix this?

i install some add-ons play some online multiplayer games(contract wars,spiral knights) and after i restart my pc,voila,all the add ons and the game cache is gone,i have to load the game again and download the extensions again,and each time i reload the game without closing firefox IT WILL start loading from the start,and this problem happens each and every time i restart my pc.now, i have checked i have cache set at maximum 1024mb,i have enabled remember history.SO WHAT IS THE PROBLEM

I installed the Capture & print Add-on on my Macbook Air and captured areas of several web pages and saved them to a folder on my desktop. All the add-on files are blank with zero data captured. What must I do to remedy this.

Hello everyone! I just started using Mozilla Firefox Web browser again, and I wanted to check if my add-ons were up to date. Well, it says that 2 of my add-ons, which are Java(TM) Platform SE 7 U67 (version 10.67.2.1) & Shockwave Flash (version 15.0.0.152) both are potentially vulnerable plugins.

I'm really not understanding where I am supposed to download these security fixes, or if there are even any? Also, how do I find out if those two versions are the latest? I'm so confused. I'm not too knowledgeable about Firefox & their features. When I go to my programs on my laptop, it says that my Java is up to date & so is my Adobe Shockwave. Is there a difference between those & the plug-ins?

If anyone can please help me I would greatly appreciate it! I'm afraid something terrible will happen if I do not fix these problems!

Hello, I noticed the other day that the Autofill (3.6) context menus no longer show up in Firefox. There are actually several context menus that no longer show up, (such as Adobe PDF). Autofill is still running in the background because it is doing it’s job, for the most part. The problem is, if I want to add something to it, I have to do it manually. Sounds like it’s a bug in Firefox that nobody has noticed yet as I can’t find any mention of any issue on the Firefox support page. I’m sending a copy of this to FF Support as well.

I am an it admin and want to install an extension globally, but placing the .xpi file in C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\browser\extensions\ or C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\plugins and restarting the browser does not prompt to install the plugin. I noticed that the cli tags have been depreciated so i did not give that a shot. The computers are windows 7 64 bit and firefox version is 35.

As it says in the title, I can't seem to download anything in Firefox anymore, aside from photos apparently. Zips files, videos, and program files always fail without even attempting to download. The download arrow pops up and that's about it. Add-ons just say that there was an error downloading and nothing else, except try again. Refresh Firefox doesn't work and neither does safe mode. Clean installs work, but only during the initial opening of the browser. If you close it and open it back up, it goes back to failing again.

I'm looking for a solution to install an add-on for all users. Specifically, we're using the Symantec PKI client (https://knowledge.verisign.com/support/mpki-support/index?page=content&id=SO27063&actp=search&viewlocale=en_US). The current version, as seen in the support page, has to be installed manually. the problem is, every time new user logs into the system with the latest version of the PKI client installed, this webpage will pop up, annoying users. As a workaround to this issue, I'm looking to install the add-on linked in on the support page and have it enabled for all users by default.

Any assistance would be appreciated! The version of firefox that I attempted the solution in was version 35.0.1, but most of our systems are running in the ESR channel, version 31.4.0.

P.S. I've added the troubleshooting information, but my workstation is fairly unique, so I'm not sure if it'll be very applicable to most of the systems in our environment.

Under Customize Firefox there are tools or features that i installed to try, then uninstalled them but the icons for them are still listed. How can I get rid of them?

I have used Down Them All for years to snag flash videos across the web and actually forgot about it for some time. I recently upgraded the machine and decided to download the add-on to see what's changed. It works great on several websites, but then at times will run a search on the same page it just downloaded from and say "No results were found." The only thing I notice is that I upgraded flash because certain sites still showed a "Missing Plug-in" box, which has since been resolved, but after I upgraded flash DTA only sees pictures and HTML type documents, no more videos on any site, like YouTube. Any idea's?

I have VDH also, and it see's flash and MPG movies wherever DTA just sits there. I prefer using DTA, it's cleaner in my opinion. What gives?

I tried toggling "disable"-"enable, removed WOT, closed Firefox, then installed again. No change.

The list, below, of probable plug-ins, shows some I don't have, doesn't list some I do.

I have tried in different ways to configure for this add-on ( thefreedictionary) it always switch to the new tab immediately when I right-click on the highlighted words which I hate this. how to configure it just to let it load in the new tab without switching to it?

PS: i have tried about:config

   browser.tabs.loadInBackground (normal links)
   browser.tabs.loadDivertedInBackground (javascript)
   browser.tabs.loadBookmarksInBackground (bookmarks) 

None of these working for this add-on

I'm tryin to use an extenssion for firefox named APK Downloader by redphx

its added to the browser, but when i go to the options page of the addon at: resource://jid1-6mgm94jnyy2vka-at-jetpack/apk_downloader/data/options.html

i just get a blank page, just a full white page with nothing to configure or log...

how can i see the page correctly?
