Today I find out that was logged out of my Firefox accounts. it happends few time this week. When I tried to log in, I found that all my passwords were gone. The logins-backup.json file is empty. after i restore firefox account synchronization happened and I'm afraid that I lost all my passwords. so What can i do?

My primary PC died about a month ago, and the SSD is fried. I had it synced to both my phone and a secondary one, so no problem accessing things. I bought a new one online, and it just arrived. Then, when I tried opening all my tabs on my new PC, I found that they were no longer available, on either that one, or my other devices. This is new, because I had already recovered a few individual tabs to my phone previously, but I hadn't thought to open all 50-100 of them then since I was waiting on a new primary laptop. The device still shows up among the connected services on my account, but it doesn't show the tabs anywhere I could find, and since the SSD doesn't work I can't go into the files and manually port them over. Is there a way to solve this?

After Windows crashed, I installed a new system and logged into Firefox using my account. But all my history, passwords, bookmarks were erased. I also went to my phone and everything was gone. I didn't erase anything myself. Is there any way to restore the previous state of the account? Are there any backups on the Firefox Sync server?

Hello, I just wiped windows and lost my bookmarks, passwords, and the like. I looked into the support options, as well Firefox profiles (about:profiles) but can't seem to get that data back. It's odd to me that it didn't sync because I also wiped windows last month and it recovered all of my data as soon as I signed into my Firefox account,so I was hoping that would happen again.

Any way to get this back?

I thought that synchronization would save my data so that I could prepare my PC for reinstalling Windows. As a result, after all the procedures and installing the Browser, synchronization does not restore my data. It's very disappointing. And the history of old sessions is completely erased.

I've been trying to get this computer to work. The last time a clean install was done a few days ago Firefox immediately remembered my favorites, extensions (or one important one of them) and the configuration of the browser.

I know this is dumb, but I cleared my iMac's cache and nuked my entire history, password and bookmarks. This is catastrophic :( Can you please assist with any steps that may be able to allow me to recover this data? I have icould and it's synced, and I have a Firefox account but I cannot seem to find any way of restoring or accessing some backup. Please advise. Thank you!

I have to do a clean install of Windows, how do I save all my firefox bookmarks and passwords as well as Thunderbird addresses and any other info I might want to import back into Firefox and Thunderbird once I've installed windows again.

I'm not sure I have the right topic as I didn't see what I will try to say. The problem is when I send an email (googlemail), I cannot insert a photo/picture in the email. The only thing I can do is attach which I do but want it inserted too. This only started happening about 2 weeks ago. It is now to the point where I have to use another browser to get it to work as it should. Any ideas why?

So.... I ended up getting a new laptop and I signed in on my mozilla account and it turns out I have lost everysingle bookmarks/saved stuff / passwords etc....

Now... the thing is I do not have my old laptop anymore cause it doesn't even turn on.. I did not make a backup cause I thought all this information is saved online...

What do I do now to get my old stuff back???

Please note that my previous device is no longer in my possession and has been formatted, so I no longer have access to the original data.

Hello there. I had to recently wipe my computer on 4/12/2025. I forgot to sync my bookmarks and passwords. Is there any way I can possibly get these back? I don't know how far back Mozilla itself keeps files, I've been told they do but I'm not sure how far back.

Hi, I just switched laptop< I no longer have my old one. I thought I'd just have log in to Firefox to recover all my information, like bookmarks and saved passwords, but now that I'm logged in, I can't find any of that. Is it possible I didn't save it? Can you help me recover it?
