No other website is effected, I am using the latest Firefox with Ventura on an imac. It all works if I use Duck duck and go? All very strange. Tim

the same as happened before: I restarted the computer for update. than there were multiple profiles in about data. i got cunfused an in the end i deleted firefox entirely and reinstalled.

Looking at my Firefox 147.0.1 settings for macOS 26.2 (Apple M1), I'm trying to adjust two settings:
-- I'd like to remove Languages -> English (GB) (its existence has odd side effects, like triggering United Airlines to offer fares in Pounds Sterling, and I'd prefer to just have English (US))
-- I'd like to disable Play Audio and Video for about:welcome (in regular and private windows)
I can see no way to accomplish this currently -- why?

When I do a manual search for the latest version, it always says it failed to search for the latest download.

If I access the same web address using Safari or Chrome it works just fine and it used to work before the software update to the 147 build.
So what switch/setting got kicked over during the upgrade that I have to turn off?
These kind of issues really make me mad at the Firefox Dev team... and I'm a very long time user.
