I'm on Win10. This morning I see that MSLOP has updated my desktop PC overnight. FF was open before the update and attempted to restart but couldn't restore pages. I told it to start a new session and the PC blue screened. This has happened before so after the PC restarted I shut it down. It blue screened a few times while also trying to restart FF. I shut it down with the power button. FF will not start with troubleshooting (shift while double clicking on FF icon). It crashes and I get the crash window. Latest crash detail is below. What next? Any help is much appreciated.

UPDATE: I went to windows settings, apps, and clicked on uninstall for FF. Immediately a message box, "Would you like to refresh instead?" popped up. Sure, why not? It thought for a while and updated. I logged in again and I am back to a functioning 147.0.3. I logged into my bitwarden extension and ublock origin is still there. No clue what happened earlier.

I have an iMac M4 running Tahoe 26.2, which has an admin account and three user accounts. Last time I tried to open Firefox in one of the user accounts, it asked for an admin password to install a helper, presumably to update. Rather than responding, I switched to the admin account and updated Firefox manually, (from the "about" option). If I now try to open Firefox back on the user account, I still get that request, but even after I enter the admin credentials, Firefox won't open. It does however open on the admin account and the other two user accounts, not getting the "helper" window at all. I have reinstalled Firefox (twice), and removed the profile form the troublesome user account, but the problem recurs. Where is the problem and how do I fix it?

I tried starting Firefox in trouble-shoot mode, but nothing changed.

When I try starting Firefox from the Terminal with the -P option, I get the following message

Hi

I have tried to launch Firefox a number of times today and every time it has frozen and does not respond. When trying to select the option of opening the software in Troubleshoot mode, once again the software freezes and I am unable to open the software in Troubleshoot mode . I have tried shutting and re-opening both the software and my laptop but this does not resolve the issue. Can you please either resolve the issue of the software freezing or tell me how I can resolve the issue.
