My search history is clogged with repetitions of the same search. For example I log onto my bank account and the search history shows 15 plus or minus entries. It also happens with other sites i visit often. I searched the internet about "history" and It was suggested that is check extensions and remove them. Then Just today my bank sign-in icon was gone. Sorry Im not always using the correct terminolgy.

I'm told there is a box to check if you want your history while in the mode to be erased. I do not remember ever having this before and it seems counter intuitive.
