After loading the latest update @ least 2 websites stopped displaying content linked to X. Theres a message that the content is blocked. After giving permission to display X the video & audio crashes immediately crashes for that story. I had to turn off enhanced protection to get the content to display like it did yesterday. Is this some kind of deep state suppression of X? What ever is going on I want yesterday back and I'm not inclined to accept future versions or updates.

Why does FF when closing a META window return you to the top of your timeline. If you view an item on FB or Insta, FF returns you to the top if you X the window or use your back button rather than take you back where you were. Chrome and Edge doesn't do this. They return you to where you were... Some will tell me to use them instead but FF is my browser of choice. Get with it coders.....

I want to turn off a recently added search bar icon in the new version of the newest version of firefox ? I only use google and don't have other search functions enabled but i dont like seeing this icon that suddenly appeared without warning ?

It is too distracting.

I’m experiencing an issue with the ClickUp web application when using Firefox. Until three days ago, everything was working perfectly, but now the table view by dates (calendar-style layout) is no longer displaying correctly.

The same feature still works fine in other browsers, so it seems to be specific to Firefox. I would really appreciate your help in identifying the problem or suggesting a fix.

Hi! I had the experimental feature auto picture-in-picture when switching off a video tab enabled, and I liked it most of the time, but occasionally I'd like to continue playing the video while browsing in a different tab but not have the picture-in-picture popup. Is there a way to close the popup but continue playing the video in the hidden tab?

From what I can tell the close button always stops the video and the to tab button doesn't have any way of switching off the tab with an active video without the popup coming back.

I would like to know how to make googl chrome my web broswer instead of firefox but i think it smy computer thats old becuase i want it to look like a regualr one iwht the windows logo at the bottom of it like any computer to day but idk how to download microsft and google and all of that so if u could help me with that , that would be wonderful thank you

I used the CSS animation property called animation-timeline , which is written as:

element{ animation-time: view(); }

When I view the webpage on Chrome, Edge, Opera, and even on Phoenix browser, the animation works.

It is only on Firefox that the animation does not work. I even added the Vendor-prefix of " -moz-animation-timeline " to the CSS property, and it still didn't work on Firefox, while it is working on all other browsers.

The CAN I USE website ( https://caniuse.com/?search=animation-timeline ) tells me that Firefox does not support it at all.

It however said that I can enable it, by setting "layout.css.scroll-driven-animations.enabled" to true.

1.) I don't know what that means.

2.) Would my website's users be able to see the animation on their Firefox browser, if we assume that I make this setting ?

3.) I am using Firefox version 138.0.3 (64-bit) : What can I do to see that both I and users of my website are able to see this animation on Firefox ?

I am starting to use the new utility which allows me to group tabs. But I would like to see only the name of the group and not the whole list. How can I collapse the list of tabs which belong to a group leaving only the group name shown. Then with a click I should be able to see the corresponding list of tabs if I need it. I've put over 12 years into using Firefox. I've put with all the broken sites and all that. It appears Mozilla is very proud of this horrible new feature where, when you start typing, it moves the typing to the search bar for some strange disorienting reason. I have turned this ugly feature off with about:preference and about:config options before, but it now appears Mozilla is dead set on inflicting this terrible feature upon us and it can no long be turned off. It's also inconsistent. A fresh browser that opens to my home (DDG) page will search in the SEARCH BOX as appropriate. But any new tab, which also opens my home page (DDG) will search in the address box.

It's the straw that broke the camel's back. I've had it and will look to Chrome again and how to strip all the nasty privacy problems out of that. I'm not sure why Mozilla took their product in this dreadful direction and decided that users should not get choices anymore, but here we are. Farewell Firefox, I will miss you.

Is this why my FF is running godawful slow today?

Pages coming up in 20 to 60 seconds or more instead of in a second or two.

I understand that in previous versions, there was a preference in about:config that would let me adjust the delay in ms that I would need to hover over a tab until its tab preview is shown. This preference is supposedly located at browser.tabs.cardPreview.delayMs but when I searched for it in about:config it did not show me any results. Any Google searches do not point me in the right direction either. Does anyone know what I could do to adjust this delay anyways?
