Recently I had to install a new windows, and I signed in to my Firefox account and found all the data from the previous windows including the open tabs, I could find them from "Tabs from other devices".

But now can't find them any more, although that device name is still there in my account page, under " connected services", please advise.

TLDR - I have two profiles set up, but they don't sync across devices.

I have Firefox on my main computer and recently got a second computer. When I downloaded and signed into Firefox on the second computer I created a new profile so I could have different bookmarks, settings, etc. At some point I got signed out of Firefox on the second computer. When I signed back in, it didn't show any profiles - just my usual default settings. On the main computer it still shows two profiles, including the one I set up on the second computer. I have tried signing out and back in on both computers, and manually syncing data. The main computer still shows two profiles, the second computer still shows zero profiles (but has my Firefox settings/bookmarks saved as default).

For some reason, when I try to sync all my stuff from my desktop Win 11 firefox/duckduckgo system, to my new Win 11 laptop, the only option I can get is to sync with a mobile device.

I had no trouble doing this some months ago with another laptop, but this time I cannot find how to do this after trying for over an hour . . . . . .

Has anything been changed that won't allow syncing with another 'big' device, please?

My tabs from a Windows 10 PC were imported to Firefox running on my Mac Studio ( OS is Tahoe ver 26.2). How do I easily recover these tabs and prevent this behavior in the future? Note: I have copied previous versions of the Firefox profiles files to my active profiles folder, but this does not bring back the lost tabs.

I have linux LMSDE7 Mint, Firefox will not sync. I click on the 3 top right corner lines, sign into Mozzilla, the bookmarks have not synced. Then if I go back to the same lines, it has still the "sign in" field, clicking has no reaction. It seems that mozilla is not signing in I have an other linux version, winux, there I have no problems, it syncs ok.

I am trying to sync my Firefox from my old laptop (Windows 10) to a new laptop (Windows 11) Mozilla sends verification code to my email, but my email is so slow that by the time this code arrives it already expired. a) Can verification code be sent to my phone? b) if not, how can I increase the time allowed for imputing the verification code to wait until I receive the code?

Hi, I need help retrieving my Saved passwords, Bookmarks and History. I have recently changed my mobile phone and Laptop. I've logged in on both items. I can't find my password, its clean. I can only see the visited sites that were on my new mobile, but nothing from my old laptop even after login and Sync

When I frequently turn off my computer using the system unit's power button, meaning a quick shutdown, after several such shutdowns, when I launch the browser, I'm prompted to log in again. Bookmarks that weren't synced disappear. And I'm also logged out of all the websites I was logged into, forcing me to log in again. Cachyos Linux.

Please help, it looks like my passwords are not synced anymore on any Mozilla I use. I sue a Mozilla portable at home and a classic desktop on my office. The synchronyzation works for bookmarks, browse history and download history but not a single password is imported on my sessions ! My files are present : see screenshot01 so my passwords are here. Login.json contains data. So what's the problem. The debug mode said that : see screenshot 02 Thanks for the help

My Firefox sync stopped working after the latest update. Bookmarks are not syncing between my desktop and laptop. I have tried signing out and back in but it still does not work. Any suggestions?

After updating Firefox to the latest version, my bookmarks are no longer syncing across devices. I have Firefox installed on Windows 11 and Linux, and the sync was working fine before the update. I have tried signing out and back in to my Mozilla account but the issue persists. Any help would be appreciated.

I want to "synch"/ export/migrate my current tabs on my old computer to this computer -- the 'synch now' button in your settings doesnt seem to take it on - please let me know?

I've had this happen several times before, but this time it really annoyed me.

I sent tabs from one Firefox instance to another on another device. I closed these tabs on the source device. These tabs were quite old this time, I'd not opened them in a while - this becomes important later.

On the destination device, let's call it "madbilly's destination Firefox", these tabs didn't arrive. After doing a couple of tests where I sent a tab from my mobile to this instance, I realised that this was a similar problem to what I'd had before, which is one where a Firefox instance/profile for some reasons "resets" itself and it seems to create a new instance in Firefox Sync. Tabs which have previously been sent to "madbilly's destination Firefox" don't arrive, because (I think) it's not registered in Firefox Sync as the same instance. These sent tabs, if closed on the source instance (which I did) are lost, unless one reopens the source instance and Ctrl-Shift+T reopens closed tabs. Unfortunately, in this case because the tabs were old and I hadn't opened them for a while there was no way to do this, because Firefox doesn't remember closed tabs which are not stored in memory (another bug, any fix?), except for looking in old session store backups which I'm going to do after I write this post, though I don't know if that will work.

Also, on Android, because it only remembers 10 closed tabs it's not really feasible to retrieve lost sent tabs this way either, and as there's no access to the session store backups the tabs are definitely lost.

Oddly, when this happens "madbilly's destination Firefox" usually appears twice in the send-tab-to menu, but in this case it didn't. To be able to send to this instance I had to sign out of Firefox sync on this instance and sign in again. Then the same instance appeared twice in the sync menu, the old one being now unreachable.

I'd like to know: 1. Why does this happen? 2. How to avoid it happening? 3. Is there a bug registered about this? 4. When will it be fixed and prevented from happening again.

I generally find that this happens when a Firefox instance isn't shut down properly, which on my old desktop I put down to it running out of resources, but on this shiny new laptop from work that doesn't make sense.

День добрый. Я с 2023 года не выходил с аккаунта. После переустановки системы, и установки новой версии браузера, синхронизация не подтягивает мои данные (закладки, пароли и тд). Данные очень важны, мне остро необходимо их вернуть.
