The CC browser (which I don't want to use) took my bookmark data from Mozilla--Firefox and now it does not have bookmarks. Please restore to Firefox my Mozilla Bookmark data. It won't let me do much because it says another secure program is using it?

I'm back to using Firefox for Windows. What is great about Firefox it's so customizable what is bad about Firefox is it's so customizable. I searched the forums for customizations that I wanna do and more often than not they are settings in the about:config section. Is there any way to back them up so that way if mess up something or if I can't remember the changes That I made to the about:config file Especially if I'm either migrating to another computer or reinstalling Firefox.

As above--I have tried recommended methods ie manage bookmarks<save to HTLM file<import/export --I can send HTML file to new pc via email but cannot get it any further what am I doing wrong or failing to do? Not exactly a whiz kid but know a little about this (obviously not enough!) </p>

Good morning you wonderfull people, I tend to update my computer once every so often. And that time has now come, I have to go through all the setting and extentions on my new system with Firefox along with many other settings for my faverate sorfware. Is there a way to copy all the existing settings to my new set up. Along with tool bar bookmarks that I can't seem to figure out how to export like the normal bookmarks. Kind regards Victor.

Not sure when I download Firefox to new PC ,How do settings I currently have in place transfer to new browser installation?

Also I have bookmarks on a memory card,Will they install to firefox by placing it in drive slot of my new windows11 machine?

I've usede Safari for years, but want to try Firefox. I've tried to import data, bookmarks and so from safari, but can't do it. Firefox says: Select the Safari file. But which one? And where do I find it? I've find the app Safari – but there's a lot of files underneath it.

Switch computers from windows 10 to windows 11. I downloaded bookmarks history from windows 10 on an external drive in html.

On new windows 11 computer, I'm trying to configure book marks. Turned off chatbot. Firefox or windows 11 is populating my sidebar with internet history I no longer use? How do I stop this and how do I import my bookmarks? i tried the import , similar to export, but it is not showing up?

I just switched to Mozilla Firefox from Chrome, I went through the import process and while Password, Bookmarks have been imported the History however will not import at all. It says it will only import 180 days of history but it appears with a yellow triangle exclamation mark and does not even import a single day.

I successfully imported to Edge for example but again if I try to import the history from Edge to Firefox it fails.

I also tried other freshly installed Firefox based browsers and they all fail to import history from chromium browsers.

Please fix this issue.

I already did the restart, unnistal, reinstall process still not working.

I also went through threads on the internet stating to modify flags and other settings it simply fails when any Firefox Browser tried to import Chromium history.

Any guidance will be welcome.

I want to switch from stable version to nightly and I can't see data import for this (now there is edge, etc). Of course i can use edge as a transit point, but still...

It seems that my main page settings aren't the same from one computer to the other. For instance, I use Roboforms password keeper and have an icon for it above the bookmark ribbon on one computer, but moving to the newer computer, that is missing. What am I doing wrong?
