Most Videos aren't playing in Firefox - Netflix, Prime Video, Plex, etc....

YouTube is still working and it's hit and miss with other sources (mostly miss).

I have FireFox 79 and it's been updated for sometime before this started happening. I've not added any addons or plugins recently and my OS (Windows 10) hasn't updated lately.

I recently purchased a monitor that I could hook up to my laptop when working from home, and yesterday after I connected the monitor I noticed that the scroll bar on the right side of the webpage was still there, but had gone completely black. If I click on it and drag my mouse, sometimes I randomly hit where the scroll bar is and it works, but I have no way of knowing where it is without guess and check. Also, the scroll bar does still show up on new tab pages and the firefox settings page. I was wondering if there's anyway I could either fix the problem or just stop displaying the scroll bar altogether?

So I was just browsing the internet and for some reason I cant switch tabs_ Instead of switching it is selecting multiple tabs at once and keeping the screen on one_ Also I could only type in uppercase when the caps lock was off and even with it on it types in lowercase also I cant add proper punctuation because it will act as if I am constantly holding shift which means that I cant type numbers and other special characters meaning that I cant type periods_ One more thing that I forgot to mention in the beginning is that instead of opening new tabs when I press the plus icon it will open a whole new window_ Please help me_

As i understand surface pro x is ARM based and requires an ARM- based version of mozilla firefox

Can i just download the regular version of firefox to use with surface pro x or is there another link where I can download the ARM-based version?

I've been trying to set up a camera for use in facebook messenger on my desktop. All the drivers etc are up to date. When I click on the video, facebook tells me that I need to use Chrome or Firefox to use the camera. Firefox is my default browser, any tab I open immediately opens with the Firefox logo.

When will creating a desktop shortcut to a website be made more user friendly? I have to close or shrink 7-8 pages to get to my desktop sometimes. This is archaic and a royal pain in the arse.

Hello all, I have been trying to download a video from YouTube. It runs for over an hour. When clicking on the grapes at the top RHS I get a load of options which I don't understand like wmv,mp4 etc. The times given go from a few Kb to 29Mb which is more realistic for what I want to download. I can't understand why you would only want to download a few Kb of a long video.

Of all the options given which one is the correct one to download what I am watching on the screen? I did get it to record for about 10 minutes then the whole computer just crashed out and shut down. Why? I have also downloaded the odd short video but there is no sound. Other times I get a download symbol in the downloads folder but it's empty and I can't delete it. To play videos I am using VLC.

I am not having much luck with this and I need help please. By the way, please keep replies basic as I am not a computer expert.

Using Firefox 79.0 (64-it) and fedora 32 OS I've noticed there is not an option to minimize the browser window anymore. I use to be able to right-click on the menu-bar and one of the options would be to minimize the Firefox window. Only options now are radio buttons for Menu Bar and Bookmarks Toolbar. Is this a bug are intentional can this functionality be restored? Regards.
