Lorex DVR remote access/manage/view add-on keeps prompting for install, after install and restart firefox does not recognize installed add-on/plugin. I need this plugin/add-on to work in order for me to monitor remotely DVR cameras at business, manage the system and view recordings of incidents if any. Logon either ddns or via locap ip address, same results. Going to try older version of Firefox shortly to see if problem goes away, so far it is on 52.02 & 53

How to fix it?

The website I use for work I need to sign in and out repeatedly in a day as different users. This new notice is in the way of the boxes and a major pain to deal with all day long. It would be wonderful if there was a way to turn it off on websites that do not require this level of security information.

Every search goes to Bing. Microsoft says it is not Windows but a Firefox issue.

ALL defaults say google - all searches revert to Bing

The only solution suggested by Microsoft is to drop Firefox and use Chrome

Since the last version of Firefox was updated (I believe 52.2) I have not been able to use Firefox for programs within the University of Mississippi (mostly to process forms through myOleMiss (https://my.olemiss.edu/irj/portal?NavigationTarget=navurl://3767964649b58f6ecb2a41a28c11fe3b). I have also tried making purchase through various retail sites and cannot access a secure site, both for ordering and checkout. I have been forced to use Google Chrome. Everyone has said that when Firefox updates again, all the problems will be fixed, but I just updated to version 53.0 and the problems still exist - so I continue to use Google Chrome for shopping and performing my job tasks. Ugh!

when i switched to firefox my web cam stopped working,the camera light comes on but the web cam screen is black. the cam works fine when i use edge,so i am confussed why it wont work with firefox.it is a built in camera on a hp probook4540s lap top

I have deleted all other search engines and made Google my default and only, when I search for something in the box I get my results from Google then a pause and then I get results from Bing. I have deleted ALL other search engines in Options but Bing still comes through, I have to click <- Back button to go to my Google results, Has anyone else experienced this?

When I visit my brokerage account I must use MS-Explorer, it seems that I can no longer access some of the pages on the web-site with FireFox. On the research page is a bar with the following choices: Summary, News, Charts, Ratings, Earnings, Statements, Peers, Ratios, Dividends, Reports, Options, Preferreds

I can select Summary and I get a summary. When I select Charts I don't get the charts. I can select Options and it takes me to the Options page. I can only get Summary, Ratings, and Options, none of the others.

I downloaded the Firefox 32bit linux install with https://download.mozilla.org/?product=firefox-53.0-SSL&os=linux&lang=en-US. I unpacked it and ran it on my 32bit Debian v8.7 machine. I get an error "cannot execute binary file: Exec format error". This error generally is a result of running a 64bit app on a 32bit OS.

The application works fine in Firefox with the Google Translate add-on disabled. However when it is turned on the sign in screen seems to become not secure. When I log in anyway get an error screen. It works fine when the add on is disabled.

I went to the link suggested in the sign in screen and it seems to imply that the security error could be what is causing the issue.

Have used this for a long time and has been excellent on the PCH website. Just recently it is no longer working on http://games.pch.com. It continues to work on all other PCH venues. Really disappointed. It has been the best tool for PCH. Help!!!

I have two local html files that were opened together in separate tabs several days ago, which are now being restored with every launching of Firefox.

Firefox is launched with three tabs: (1) homepage; (2) a local html file and (3) the source code of the file.

I had opened the local html file and then opened view the source code. These are the two files that are opened on launch, along with the homepage.

I followed a forum answer of a similar sounding issue which detailed the possible corruption of sessionstore file(s).

A resolution based on deleting of all sessionstore* files and the sessionstore-backups folder. Though this proposed solution did not resolve my issue.

btw: prior to seeing the issue, I experienced a crash and was reminded of making the changes to browser.sessionstore.restore_on_demand and browser.sessionstore.restore_from_crash to prevent post-crash restores.

The values were changed to False and then back to True, with the two tabs still being opened when Firefox is launched.

Also, I have tried changing the preferences around remembering and clearing history with no luck.

I've even tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox with no luck. Though maybe this should be tried in a way that I'm not automatically signed on with my gmail account.

I want to use Firefox primarily for the developer tools, but this issue must be resolved for me to continue to use the product.

Can gain access to system; no issue. Once in system I can see all locations. When I select a camera I receive the error message " 1. “RTSP video is not supported without VLC web plugin”.

I recently upgraded. Now, when I want to download a word doc (not a PDF) from a website, like Pupil Path, an LMS for students, the document will not open. You can see from the image below what is happening. I can open PDFs, and that is because I made an adjustment in preferences, but there is nothing for the word program. Please help.

For several weeks now, Firefox keeps starting up with same set of tabs despite I configured it (via Tab Mix Plus extension) to select last quit's set. I have re-configured many times, reinstalled Firefox and performed refreshment and nothing works. Once, it worked for a couple of starts, but eventually same set of taps came back

I don't think I'm utilizing the many benefits of Mozilla. I find a classroom setting is more beneficial to me than on-line tutorials. Just wondering if Mozilla offers any classes.

My laptop says I have the latest version of Mozilla Firefox. For certain sites I regularly visit via links in emails received, Firefox is blocking automatic redirect. I have to manually check Allow, and there doesn't seem to be an option to remember that instruction.
