I have a large number of addons that I use for security and customization reasons. I need to be able to use these addons despite firefox thinking they are dangerous. I take full responsibility for anything that happens. I need to know how to get past the blocklist so I can get my addons working again.

Last Pass. E-Web, and XMarks add-ons disabled on my PC using windows 10. My Mac uses Last Pass, E-Weband XMarks and it is still working. Why are these add ons disabled on the PC and not the MAC. I used these everyday and if Firefox will continue to disable these three very important add-ons I will use another browser.

I have used RoboForm for years with no problem. However last night I ran the latest Windows update and this morning I had no Robo Tool bar in my Firefox. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Robo and still no toolbar. I ran windows restore to 8-8-15 and there was the toolbar fully functional. Went back to windows update and had the same problem again.

Firefox new version 41 makes 'browser.newtab.url' doesn't work. the value is 'https://www.google.com.tw/' after updating, it no longer works. How to fix this problem?

Today about 5 of my extensions were disabled. Two of them I use and need Clipconverter and the Webroot filtering extension. I want these extensions back and need to know why they were disabled when I have been using them for years.

Firefox updated to the latest beta version 41.0b1 at which point the add-on signing automatically disabled three extensions, - 1Password - Adobe Acrobat - Avast on-line security How can I override the disable function so I can use these extensions in the latest version?

Following latest update to this beta version java has failed completely. I noticed when I wanted to access a secure site which uses a Java plugin to start a remote desktop. On starting, it should ask if I want to run the Juniper Setup Applet, which is a Java applet. I dont get this any more on 41.0b1.

I have a backup machine running 40.0 and comparing the production and backup machine I note that the update to 41 has stripped out several addons including the Java Platform SE 8 U51. On the backup machine running 40.0 the site works correctly and the java test sites noted below work correctly.

Reinstalling Java didnt fix it and starting Firefox in safe mode didnt fix it. The site was already specified in the add-ons and popup exceptions.

Trying to verify Java at https://www.java.com and at www.test-java.com both show that Java is not installed or enabled whereas in fact it is - it is now just completely blocked in Firefox.

On my backup machine, I didnt manage to stop the auto update to 41.0b1 and once that had happended Java was broken on this machine too.

Some security is good but at this rate I might as well turn off the PC for complete security!

My recent migration to Windows 10 went without a hitch. Then Firefox had upgrades and security updates. In this process all add-ons were disabled and cannot be activated. I get a script issue notification occasionally. Also Private Window won't work. Are these issues likely to be resolved soon or do I have to take some further action?

Got desktop back from service and now every browse session is substantially slowed by https which I did not request, understand or necessarily desire.

I want to get rid of it. I tried doing something as suggested on line without result.

I'm not tech savvy and hope for a solution stated simply enough that even I can follow the directions. Assuming I know anything about computers is a great way to give directions that are beyond my grasp. Please dumb it down for me.

I recently downloaded Firefox on a PC, it was my default browser and everything was running fine. I added extensions including Ghostery and Add Block Plus which work fine on my other browsers and I think on Firefox for a while. Now I can't get the video to work on popular websites (e.g. the Weather Channel) even if I disable Ghostery and Add Block Plus which I don't think are the problem anyway. So I messed up something. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

When I navigate to MSN, Hotmail or Yahoo Mail, some of the buttons that link to several functions or other pages only display as a square with no information as to button function. This problem, along with a tendency to hang up and freeze sporadically, started after the last update to Firefox 40. The freezing occurs randomly with no set timing or on no particular website but tends to occur more often on websites with music or video streaming.

how can i disable addon signing check? working on a developer version or signing addons is not an option. i want to disable addon for specified addons only

I love firefox and that's why I want to get it work again. since few days my firefox crashes and I don't know why. Sometimes it crashes when I type something in the search tool bar and sometimes when i scrall on a page, sometimes when i want to type an URL. I disabled all add ons and plugins. but the error appeared again. I also tried to fix it by installing the 64 bit version but it does not help. Here is the last crash report:

Having had endless issues with Firefox and Adobe Flash Wave crashing, unresponsive plugins and scripts, I took a leap of faith and 'reset' Firefox just now. My hesitancy is that the last time I reset Firefox, all of my bookmarks disappeared. I was able to find them after a lot of searching, but I do not understand why Firefox would relocate them to begin with, making it necessary for me to mess with the old profile and create a new one.

Anyway, after this reset, my bookmarks didn't disappear, but they are an older 'version' of the current bookmarks: I don't mean the bookmarks themselves are an older version, but those I had added to specific folders before I reset Firefox this time are back in the folder I had moved them from. There are bookmarks I deleted that now appear again. And the bookmarks I recently added are not there.

Firefox says about resetting: 'The refresh feature fixes many issues by restoring Firefox to its default state while SAVING your essential information like bookmarks, passwords, and open tabs.'

My bookmarks are very important to my work and I am adding, deleting and moving them frequently--Firefox sets an expectation--without disclaimers or warnings--that it doesn't meet.

I suppose there will be suggestion to find my recent-now-old profile and create a new one, etc. ***And I'm going to need the exact instructions to do that***

And by the way, the issues with Firefox and Adobe Flash Wave crashing, unresponsive plugins and scripts that I was attempting to resolve with a reset of Firefox are still alive and well, after I have tried every single thing suggested on Firefox and elsewhere to resolve the issue. I need to go back to using IE.
