The main Add-Ons used were, FlashGot \ with Internet Download Accelerator (IDA), and 1 or 2 resizing tools, to reduce page size which was constantly oversize.
Anyone care to shed a little light on what they think is a probable reason(s) why this occurred?

Hello community. I need some help with my Sync account for Firefox. Recently my laptop got stolen and therefor I lost all my data. I setup sync on my old laptop and let it sync my settings, tabs, extensions etc.
But now when I try to log in on my new device it asks for my encryption key. I don't have that anymore. There is an option that says "I lost my old device" and when I click on it, I can see that in the settings screen behind it my settings and account are displayed but the "Next" button is grayed out. I really need my tabs back.

On my Windows 7 64-bit desktop computer, on the page to remove programs, I have two versions of FireFox, 27.0 and 27.0.1. They both have (x86en-US) after their names. The 27.0.1 version is a week newer, of course. Is having the older version on there as well a security risk, like having old versions of Java, or is it harmless? Also, is there a 64 bit version of the browser I should be using? The current 32 bit version seems to work fine. Thanks for your help

it opens to that page, which has controls to adjust vertical and horizontal position, but it no longer restores the results of using these controls on the page from the last session, and I have to go through this process every time I open Firefox. In the Options menu/General, I have it set to "Show my windows and tabs from last time", but it always goes to the Home Page setting, no matter what I put in there. How do you get Firefox to set to "no home page", or its equivalent? If you leave the space blank, it goes to the Firefox page. Is this one of those things you have to set in a .ini file somewhere?

I then quit firefox normally and when I open it back up, the icons are back in the status bar. I have sync enabled which I think may be the problem, but I have yet to test that.

Reverting to version 26 or earlier corrects the problem and my downloads go to F:\, but updating to 27.0.1 brings the problem back. A workaround is to create a subdirectory and save to there, but I want to save in the root like I always did before version 27.0.1.

I didn't enter the recovery key on the computer I paired. How did it get there? I assume it had to be sent from the main computer, but how secure is that?
