I am having issues with Firefox crashing at various times though out the day. It always starts out fine, but at some point it just stops responding and I have to close the browser and reopen it. This happens at least once a day and it does it on different units (my LG Laptop, Dell Desktops (2 different units-1 at work and 1 at home), Surface Pro 9, my Dell laptop), so I know it is not the unit, it is something in Firefox! My Dell laptop runs Windows 10, all the others run Windows 11. Please look into this and provide a patch. Thank you!

I was using PC and a window popped up saying "allow Firefox to make changes" and I clicked allow! Shortly thereafter my PC froze and I had to power it down. Now Firefox looks completely different and all my bookmarks and links to everything is gone. Also all my saved email logins and information!

I don't know what happened because the browser was working fine earlier this morning and I didn't do anything to compromise it. I didn't go to settings and change anything. I suspect someone may have 'hacked in,' if that is still even a 'thing.' I think this because when I try to shut off my internet temporarily someone turns it back on and I usually have to 'fight' with whoever that is to get my internet to go off. I tried to ask google a question I wanted the answer to. That question was, how long does the flu last (because I have it or covid.) I also asked how long does covid last. What happened was that spinning thing where it was continually searching but never going to the site. Can you help, please? Thanks in advance if you can.

When I try to print a check from QBO, the text for the check is scrambled. If I try this incognito, it works. I have also experienced this when trying to print documents from web applications.

Good day. I just noticed that saving a bookmark to an Amazon page shows the full address in the title of the bookmark now, instead of the description of the page. I checked and this does not happen on other sites, like YouTube, where the video title is still given correctly. This make it very hard to find the bookmarked Amazon items. Thank you for your help. Love Firefox! PS: I'm a Firefox "Power User" when it comes to Bookmarks. I have over 8000 bookmarks and regularly back them up. A virus file, from a website, keeps automatically downloading each time that I open my Firefox browser. I have tried clearing the cookies and history but the file keeps showing up as downloaded but the actual file is not in the general download folder? I only see where it download and says downloaded in the download list. The file contains a virus and also Firefox states that its dangerous. I never clicked to open the file.

How to stop this from keep automatically downloading when I open my browser? Please help ASAP Thanks

My old email address, "jonnikhan1547@sbcglobal.net" is no longer active. I need to change my log-in to Steam and other apps, as well as my old password (which I've totally forgotten).

I like to keep my browser windows slightly smaller than my desktop. I usually leave about a half inch or so free on each side. This way, I still have easy access to any desktop shortcut that is alone the top/bottom, or left right of the screen, without having to minimize my browser windows completely to see the entire desktop. But for some reason, for the last several Firefox versions, it will always resize its height to take up the entire height of the desktop. The width stays the same, the way I want it. But the height is always from the top of the screen all the way down to the task bar. I don't know if it happens every single time I close out of Firefox and reopen, but I know my manual resizing never lasts long. what is happening here?

Windvine Content Description Module updated - problem fixed. I had alternately disabled both Windvine and OpenH264 Video Codex, closed and restarted FireFox with no success. This AM, I updated Windvine, closed and reopened FireFox. Amazon Prime video now works very well. Thanks for your trouble shooting tips ! OS Monterey 12.7 FireFox 118.0.2 PS: FF Tab Manager has returned speedy browsing. Horray !

I started Firefox and left the room. When I returned it asked me if I wanted to "Refresh" Firefox. I said yes. Now I have lost my bookmarks, history, etc. I have a profile from a backup. But learned I can't just move it into "Profiles" directory.' I've tried removing/reinstalling Firefox, etc. etc. As it is now, I have a Firefox that tries to start, but says "your profile can't be loaded." How do I reinstall my backups and history, etc.? I have RTFM, but it just dug me in deeper.

I can't access my account anymore, this one was created by linking the mail address used for the account which apparently i never did. I tried every password i commonly used and none of them worked, so I think that this one was auto-generated and then saved, in my firefox account... What is really killing me is the 7 years of bookmarks and password that are locked behind this password, i can access the account by password recovery but that would defeat the purpose since I just learned that its linked to my data. I just changed my OS back to windows so file recuperation is gonna be a pain/impossible. The way i understand things i have to make my peace with all the websites I accumulated for years (and also the PWs) or wait and don't touch my PC because the firefox folder that was deleted was on the same HDD that i used for the new OS. Of course all of this wouldn't be a problem if I didn't have had a problem to my phone and send it back to the constructor for the warranty, which means if I'm not mistaken that my account just lost it's last link to me, except the auto-destruction button. Is starting to learn cryptography my best bet to reach my account ? Or is there something I didn't cover and there still a way ? Please tell me it's still possible.

When I opened Firefox, the message below popped up for a few seconds, then disappeared: CAD 3.8.2 - Some site data, including 1 Cookie(s), removed from 1 domains(s), including addons.mozilla.org...

Can anyone explain this, and should I be worried (CAD is a Python term used in uploading code). Thank you.
