Why has my firefox browser failed to connect with my banking website?

But you won't know it until you access more unique folders than you already have in the list.

For instance, when you access the 8th folder that is different it will be sticky, when you access a 9th that is different it will be sticky. Kind of like a "most recently used" list. You won't see the extras until they happen.

Solution given by Cor-el: There is a pref on the about:config page that defaults to 7 to set the number of entries to show in this list of recently used folders.

Hi there, Trouble is never far away from windows 10, as I had (yet again) to reset my whole notebook and Firefox and cannot recover previous bookmarks, nor the side bar. I am absolutely throttled on this as all seems unresponsive. I have found a copy of old firefox but it won´t swallow it. How can I get out of this situation which catches me out everytime. keep it simple

I am not too good with the computer and have just starting using Firefox. I will do my best to describe my question so please bar with me. I have 2 rows of websites that I frequent...actually only using the first row and 5 spaces in the second row. When I go to a different website Firefox is automatically adding that website to one of the boxes in the second row which I do not want. How do I stop this? Question 2...using Ebay as an example...if I keep searching on Ebay and have looked at lets say 5 different pages how do I go back to the home screen without having to hit the back button 6 times? Hello, I upgraded my windows 8.1 system with firefox on it to windows 10. The windows 10 upgrade saved my windows 8.1 files. I installed firefox on windows 10. I deleted the files created by the install in the folder 'profiles'. When I copy my old firefox profile contents into that firefox profile folder, firefox does not pickup my bookmarks and extensions as I had hoped. Is it possible to get firefox to recognize my old profile contents? Thanks, Doug

Hi. Can anyone tell me if it would be possible to display all 3 rows of toolbar bookmarks in my bookmark toolbar? It used to show 3 rows, but I changed my monitor's display settings to make the text bigger, and now I can only see the first row of bookmarks at the top of the screen in Firefox. Thanks.

Is there currently a keyboard shortcut to switch the focus to the Bookmarks Toolbar?

If not, are there any plans to add one?

If not, I would like to request that functionality.

This morning after no noticeable change to my computer, the bookmarks are missing from Firefox. I thought it might be after last update, but that was a week ago (I think) and I didn't have this issue until after the weekend (computer on but not used, system did not restart). The bookmark backups are listed but i get the following error when trying to load them:

"Unable to process the backup file."

I have found the file location, but even trying to do it manually gives the same error.

Is this a bug from the new update?

Hello, I am changing computers. I used Mozilla Firefox on the old computer and now on the new one. It's the same version; I checked. I exported the bookmarks from the old computer as HTML (that was the only option) but when I try to import them to the new computer and the same version of Firefox, they will not import.

I'm using Firefox 100 on Win10 and can't save any bookmarks. They do NOT appear under the App Data Profile, which would not be acceptable even if they were. This change has made it impossible for me to continue using Firefox, unless I want to go back to Win7.

I simply need Bookmarks to work the way they did before!

I have deleted my bookmarks with the Bookmark manager, but where are they now? I cannot find them in /trash and all of the *bookmark* files on my laptop are miniscule (like 127 bytes.) The json files are no better, when I imported previous bookmark files they were empty.

Many of my bookmarks are corrupted. They point to other websites, not the bookmarked one. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a fix? Thanks for any info/advice. George

I had to remove my side bar to do a print screen. With the latest version of Firefox I can't find how to put the side bar back! Not Happy..... It use to be obvious but now it is too hidden. Who is doing the user testing these days? Please fix the issue.
