Mac Tahoe 26.4. Any attempt to download or upload results in a file chooser/picker/browser panel that shows part of the finder interface but not all. Can't interact with it besides switching between sidebar items, no files visible, can't close or exit this window, can't interact with anything else. The only active button on the top of the window is the fullscreen button. Have to force quit firefox every time.

I tried troubleshoot mode and it did nothing. There is a workaround for some download links where I can open them in another tab and they automatically download without opening the window. Drag and drop options seem to work for uploads when they're available.

I took screenshots and was going to attach them, but this problem prevents me from doing that. This browser's sorta bricked for me at the moment.

I cannot download anything from any website when browsing on Firefox. My decision is therefore whether to download an older version of Firefox or use Safari just for downloading files, which means creating new links on Safari for all emails and other websites that I download from. This problem is since the update to Firefox 157.0 which has been several days now so seems to be permanent. Will this bug be fixed?

In some regions, the offline translation language packs fail to download properly in Firefox. Users are unable to complete the download, which prevents the translation feature from working offline. Please look into potential regional network restrictions or server accessibility issues. Thank you.

Hello all.

For a while, all downloads have failed on Firefox (150.0.1), Windows 11. No file downloaded, and download tab shows a 'failed' underneath the file name. This holds true when downloading any file type, via firefox directly, or an outside app (Discord, for example) that hooks into the browser. Downloads work on other browsers (Chrome).

• I have checked about:config and reset the recommended options from other articles ("...lastDir" was the only one of the list that had an entry).
• Starting in Troubleshooting / Safe Mode does not fix.
• I currently run Norton - disabling it did not seem to fix.
• I don't have a Family group, so it's probably not the parental controls issue (though I think that was solved?)

I recognize that the lack of ability to download in Safe Mode points towards the possibility of an outside program blocking downloads, but I'm at a bit of a loss, since other browsers do work.

Thanks in advance for any ideas or suggestions.

I have downloaded Firefox browser and used it on my other Mac. Firefox says than you for downloading, but I cannot find Firefox.dgm anywhere. What's happening. Both of my Macs are same

I'm running Firefox 157.0 on MacOS Tahoe 26.6.2. The same lack of result occurs in all websites. I restarted the computer (several times), reinstalled Firefox, tested in troubleshoot mode, checked download settings, deleted history, blah, blah, blah. Nothing has worked, except to skip Save Image As... and switch to drag-and-drop.

Why would this suddenly happen after decades and thousands of successful uses of Save Image As...?

What other options do I have to restore Save Image As...?

I restarted my computer tonight and when I came back to Firefox, I found myself unable to right-click "Save As" images. I click "Save As" and then the window for me to select a file path / rename the file etc. just doesn't pop up at all.

I also notice that on a site with a "Save PNG" button that should also bring up this window, it also now does nothing.

I Refreshed Firefox through the "More troubleshooting options" and strangely this enabled me to save ONE image with a "Save As" right-click/button, but then trying a second time went back to no window popping up. I refreshed twice like this and both times only the first attempt would work before all others would be unresponsive.

When I try to download anything in my Mozilla Firefox Browser, it will not download and just says "Failed Download". I even tried to Retry Download and that does not work. My browser is up to date to the most current version. How can I fix this?

Une fois que j'enregistre mes fichiers avec un nom de fichier, je ne les retrouve pas et, à la place, ce sont des birbes de phrases qui s'affichent et ne correspondent à rien. De plus, c'est un petit carré jaune qui s'affiche devant le nom du fichier que j'enregistre ! J'ai l'exemple d'u texte que j'ai enregistré à l'instant sur mon PC. Merci de m'aider.

up until yesterday I had no issues downloaded data from https://heasarc.gsfc.nasa.gov/xamin/ now nothing happens at all
