Hi. I was just looking at Google Photos on both Firefox and Chrome. Chrome had a bigger picture because the window had only the tabs bar and the address bar, and Firefox has an additional title bar. I was wondering if it would be possible to remove the title bar so the picture on both browsers were the same size?

I use Firefox 132.0.1 under Fedora 14 Linux. Whenever I click an urls in another application (e.g. Libreoffice, Keepass...) a new tab is opened in Firefox (according to Firefox's settings), but Firefox itself does not pop up in the foreground, it remains in the background. I highly appreciate the setting 'open links in tabs instead of new windows'. But FF only comes to foreground in case I deactivate 'open links in tabs instead of new windows'. How can I prevent FF to stay in the background in case 'open links in tabs instead of new windows' is enabled?

The latest version of Firefox (115) always launches at fullscreen size in linux. I rarely use any application at full screensize because I like to have other windows open on the desktop at the same time. Virtual desktops are not always convenient. I have tried using the -geometry option at the command line, which is usual honoured by applications running under X11, but this is ignored. Nor can I grab the bottom right-hand corner and drag it diagonally to resize it dynamically. Maybe there is a setting somewhere for initial size?

What has happened to the "More actions" menu button - the one that normally is in the upper left corner of windows (see the attached image)?

I have just installed a new PC, with Debian 12 and KDE (plasma 5.27.5); the other windows have this menu button, but not Firefox and Thunderbird. Is there a way to get it back, eg by moving the menu bar out of the title bar and back to where it used to be?

I know it may sound a bit strange, but I would like to know WHY an extension is not allowed in a private window, so I might understand the reason why I'm not able to diagnose an issue I'm having with fucking amazon who has their cart all over the place for a misconfiguration in firefox that either I did or an extension is causing, however I'm unable to figure out which because I can't enable extensions in private windows, where the issue does not happen, so I'm not able to reproduce and isolate the problem. hi, I recently purchased a new wireless mouse and keyboard... and my only problem is that there are a couple extra buttons on my new mouse... roughly thumb position... and are by default set to navigate backward and forward.... I'm running ubuntu linux... which results in accidentally clicking back midway through a video or podcast and losing my position more often than you'd expect... any idea how I might either reassign or disable them entirely on the software side of things? thanks. -dan

file:///.../index_details.rst or file:///.../index_details.txt in my default system editor.

This has worked pretty well last in version 127. (https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/127.0/linux-x86_64/en-US/)

But after v127 Firefox always opens files directly (see screen). I can't find any settings to change this behavior. Something has been changed.

I keep back the firefox upgrade so long it was posible for me but 127 is now old and i use the last version 133.0-1.

I'm using Linux (Debian).
