I think there was a recent new release. Screens look different and I can no longer find my favorites bar... and unable to figure out how to get it back or recreate it. Help!

On my Dell Venue 8 Pro tablet, win 8.1, I am unable to drag the 'download' (arrow) icon from the customize screen on to the tool bar. I was able to drag the 'search' icon from the screen to the tool bar. Why can I drag one, and not another? Thanks, WoodyB

On my desktop version of Firefox, the option shown in this screenshot is disabled: http://screencast.com/t/k7YIzNTC9C7. It's not greyed out on my laptop version.

Also, I'm not able to select the "Always Enable" option to always enable notifications from certain websites in my browser on my desktop, but I'm able to do it on my laptop.

Both versions are updated to 36.0.4.

I do not save my passwords, but I do like my user logins to automatically pop up. Up until yesterday, they did. I have found the settings in options and corrected it, but once I logout or go offline, when I come back my settings have been lost. How do I get it to save?

Why can't I contact You with ACTUAL FEEDBACK? Why does Firefox Vers 28 allow me to download complete webpage files but Vers 30 does not? Plugins, Addons, Internet Security are all the same on both systems. I can download the files in IE but not Firefox. What gives? I use NoScript, Better Privacy, Ghostery, and Kaspersky Internet Security configured the same on both systems. The only reason I checked is because on certain sites, I can't download files and the view completely. Firefox Vers 30 will download but not create a complete html link in the directory so that I can open and view the file.

How do I get back the bar underneath the top search bar that had things listed across like, facebook, outlook, Uncle henry's wtc that I dragged from entries in top search bar? I lost it after doing a refresh. I also can not sign in to mozilla accounts with my user name and password. Thanks.

I am running Firefox on Linux Mint 13 Maya. For some reason many of the buttons in Firefox (not on webpages but in FireFox itself) do not respond to mouse clicks. I have tried Safemode, refresh/restore and uninstall/reboot/reinstall. Still the same problem. I have a hard time accessing settings because the menu button is one of those that "depresses" but does not respond to any mouse clicks. Also I can not activate or deactivate plugins because of the same problem.

I updated firefox and no longer get My MSN when i open mozzilla or click on the "house" in the upper right corner. Instead I get FoxYeah with a search box. When I click on Makes MSN my home page, I am prompted that it already is. I am sorry I ever up dated

My PC's time and date were incorrect and were the cause of the site presenting as untrusted. Since I then unwittingly entered it as an exception, I've now decided I want to delete the exception, but don't have any idea how to do so. My browser is Firefox, and my OS is Vista. I would appreciate any help. Thank you, kevindu.

I have got this purple sign in the upper right of the browser. Every new tab I open says " your are browsing in private mode" (in dutch). So my history isn't saved. In my preferences I have UNchecked " always use privatebrowsing", and checked "remember history and downloads". And by the way I also checked 'always ask for where to keep downloads' which doesn't work anymore in this new version. Bug?

Hopefully someone who uses Firefox on a personal desktop computer that is not connected to a network can answer this question:

In Internet Explorer, I know that unchecking 'the Automatically Detect Settings' option in the LAN settings under the Connections tab allows webpages to load faster.

In Firefox, there are four Internet Setting Configurations: 'No Proxy,' 'Auto Detect Proxy Settings For This Network,' 'Use System Proxy Settings,' and 'Manual Proxy Configuration,' 'Auto-Detect' being the default option.

1. Which of these four settings allows webpages to load as quickly as they would in IE by unchecking 'the Automatically Detect Settings' option and what is the order of the other three configurations from 'fastest' to slowest?'

2. Under 'Cached Web Content,' should the 'Override Automatic Cache Management' option be checked? If so, how many MB should the cache be limited to? Right now, the option is unchecked and set to 350MB.

Some webpages are loading slowly so perhaps the above settings need to be changed.

Also, is there an 'Email Notification' option at the top/bottom of each thread created so that I know when someone has responded?

Two days ago "Bookmark this Page" stopped working. I cannot bookmark any webpages anymore - and it's not like I haven't been using Firefox for years and years. I know how to bookmark & also how to sort bookmarks into my bookmark toolbar. But for no reason that I can find, bookmark no longer works. Period. I click on the "Bookmark This Page" line and nothing happens. What happened? HELP!!!!

I don't know what I did, but my new tab page that held 9 of my favourite sites disappeared and I don't know how to get it back. I don't know what it was called but I would really like to have it back. I won't know how to find the answer to this question so I really hope the answer is emailed to me. Whenever I open Firefox now, the display fills up my whole screen, covering everything, regardless of what size it was when I last closed it. I want it to be smaller so I can see other things on my desk top, and now I have to manually change the display size and center it on my screen every time I open Firefox. How do I set it so it will use the same display size it was the last time I closed it? Thanks.

I have made adjustments on the "about:config" once before on how to enable back the feature, but just few minutes ago I have the checkbox for the "Do not ask next time" option ticked by accident, and then proceeded to click the "Save and Quit" button. Now everything just closes, and automatically save my active tab(s)! How do I get the warning message box to prompt up again so I can choose to either Save and Quit, Quit, or just Cancel?

I don't know how it happened, but cannot get google search to stay as my search engine. I am using the most current version of Firefox there is. I have deleted all the other search engines but it still goes back to yahoo. Do not like yahoo, I want my google back, lol. Please advise me how to fix this problem, thank you.

I use Firefox as my browser and it usually opens with google as home page and searches are via google. Suddenly it started opening on yahoo and also using that as search engine. I suspect it happened when I downloaded update of C Cleaner which I think has a box I should have unticked. I seem to have got the home page back BUT a new tab still opens in yahoo and searches immediately go to yahoo. I've clicked the options tag (from drop down box top right) and gone through all that several times but it keeps going back to yahoo!!! Please can anyone tell me how to get rid of it.
