I mistakenly saved a wrong password for a website and overwrote the previous saved password which was the real password. Now I cannot get into that website. Is there a way to access the history of saved passwords for a website to view my older password?

I'm away from home, using Firefox on Windows 10, and every time I open the password manager, it defaults to "Alerts". I feel sure that when I use Firefox at home on Windows 11, it defaults to "Last Used". In this age of complex passwords, if I am opening the password manager, it's to copy a password I need frequently, so it would be very helpful if I could get Firefox to default to showing the "Last Used" passwords. Is there a way to do this?

Recently, when I try to log into my amazon account, when I get to the password prompt, a window pops up from Defender saying firefox asked it to request a PIN. I close this window and proceed with any problem. How can I stop this annoying, useless action?

Anyone know how to fix this issue? it has crashed a couple times in the past couple weeks but just now its run an update to the most recent version any time i go to a site and choose sign in via google afew sceonds after the small pop up appears it crashes all firefox.

I am not able to login into my gmail account. Whenever I try to sign in, it shows the message as shown in the attached image. I have tried clearing all cookies and cache. Also removed all the extensions to see if it fixes it Please help me. I have Linux Mint 22 Cinnamon Firefox version 131.0.3 (64-bit)

Hi, 2 days ago I switched from Chrome to Firefox. I buy a lot of stuff online from many shops, so I really need the autofill feature. I checked and it is available only in some locations, ex. France. Will it be available in Poland in about a month?

How can I delete the automatic username suggestions that appear on websites? Even when I remove the username and password for the website from Firefox's password manager, the usernames still show up. If I simply double-click in the username field, I still get the old suggestions. Deleting cookies hasn’t helped either. Please see screenshot. I anonymized the mail adresses in the pic, but they are completely shown.

Can anyone help me?

so I am trying to de-google and moved from Windows to MAC. BUT, none of my auto text shortcuts work, my email isn't being populated in fields where it should be (I don't save passwords in FF, I use bitwarden).

Spell check doesn't seem to work either, all of these DO work on Chrome :(

Any ideas, I tried to turn on a setting I read on some old post (9 years ago) about the following setting but it didn't work.

widget.macos.automatic.text_replacement=true

Firefox windows desktop 130.0.1 (Windows 10 all up to date)

I moderate a listserv list and cannot login. I enter my credentials, do the not a robot thing, <rtn> and then it circles around and I'm at the login screen.

I use Edge and it works fine.

Ideas anyone?

I am using a primary password. However the password is required when I open Firefox as well as for password protected websites I visit. Is there a way to not have to put in the primary password every time I open Firefox? I feel duplicate protection is unnecessary and time consuming.

I just cleared out my cache (on Firefox 132.0.1), and now my Facebook messages won't sync. It's asking for my PIN, which I wasn't even aware that I had. How do I get access to my PIN, or set up a new one? Thank you.

I use Firefox as my primary browser. I have always been able to sign in with Google Nest without any problem. I always entered my user name and then my password and I would be logged into my Nest account.

But now I click on my Google account (https://home.nest.com/login/) and then I click on Nest/Sign in/Sign in with Google. Then I just loop around between the two Google pages.

This started a few days ago. I can't figure it out so now I use Chrome or Safari. But I'd much rather use Firefox. Any ideas? Any help is very much appreciated.

how to set up preferances so I dont have to enter my passwords evertime or 2 step verification. My settings are set to allow the sites to remember them, but Im always being asked to enter the information.

I've had trouble with this in the past where logging into Ring won't let me get past my user name/email address. I can hit enter, reload the page, try using tab but nothing works. Then for some unknown reason it will go forward to the password. But this time it just won't let me proceed no matter what I do, the continue option stays grayed out. I can sign on using Edge but I don't want to use Edge or even have a second browser open just so I can see my security camera. I want Firefox to work correctly.

Hi, I sent an email with the question of, How can I change my Master password without loosing all my passwords and user Id's etc. I can't remember my Master password and I read where it said I would loose all of my info, so how do I delete my Master password or change it and not loose everything? I go through the process of signing into Firefox Sync, it sends the confirmation e-mail and i copy paste the code in, then it takes me to the mozilla accounts page and shows me all the data about my account, but when i click on sync under settings, it says "account disconnected" if i click "sign in" the process repeats with the end result being "account disconnected"
