Recently, whenever i have to quit firefox, my tabs have all disappeared upon opening. I have tried all the suggestions in the Mozilla help and nothing seems to work. This used to happen from time to time which was frustrating but now it happens every time I need to quit firefox. "Recently closed tabs" and "recently closed windows" are greyed out when I try to use that. and there is nothing in "restore previous history". Thank you for your help.

Reader view doesn't work on many Lifehacker pages/articles. Can something be done to make it work on those pages? Here's an example:

Hello, Having some issues with two websites that don't load correctly. Can you help me with this ? It has been going on for a while withe my car brand website configuration page so I have to use Safari for that, but today it happened with my bank website. I've been having issues logging in to my Instagram account through the Firefox browser. I've tried entering the password manually, clearing cache+cookies, opening in troubleshoot mode, and turning off the enhanced tracking mode (in case that might've been causing the issue) all to no success. This has been an issue since I started using Firefox as my default browser about 2 months ago.

I use Firefox and I like Firefox and I appreciate what you do there & at Mozilla. But one thing really irks me!

On the homepage, the icons for the various sites I frequently visit are displayed. They change from time to time, depending on how often I sign into my favorite sites.

But I get the sense this system is being manipulated in a way that doesn't serve the interest of your customers/users. Besides my email account, there is one site I go to more often than any other: the Genealogy website "Myheritage.com." Yes as often as I visit this website, its icon is never added to the display of my frequently used sites.

For some years I frequented the site Ancestry.com. But I stopped using them because Myheritage is better for my purposes (exploring Eastern Europe genealogy). Ancestry was removed from my most frequent list, but Myheritage has never been added.

I am on a Mac OS 15.6.1 -- 24GB of RAM. I have noticed multiple page hangs -- request to stop with AWS web console. To the point, that I have gone back to Chrome where I do NOT have these hangs. So, I suspect something has changed, but it makes the FF browser unusable. Something you should look at at. Happy to help if I can, but my time is limited.

EVERY TIME Firefox updates or the computer shuts down, it loses my bookmarks. I check the box next to Bookmarks in Sync, and the second I hit "sync now" the checked box disappears and the bookmarks do not sync. Friggin annoying. I'm not a programmer so I'm hoping for a user-friendly solution. Thanks!

when i try go log in on certain sites i keep getting a message asking for a fingerprint my computer doesn't have a finger print and i have no clue what it is asking for.

Using Firefox on Mac (iOS 15.6.1) - restarted Firefox for updates and it's deleted ALL my bookmarks - what the hell? Everything gone from the toolbar, but I can still see them on my phone?

(This is the last straw of a string of bad experiences with Firefox - I think I'm switching to Chrome if there's no easy solution!)

When I sign in to the NY Times (for example) I get a dropdown of autofill email addresses. Some are even mistyped addresses or bogus addresses I've used to access webpages that'll take any email address. I cannot delete these. I've tried shift-delete. These email addresses cannot be accessed via Firefox preferences: autofill screens do not list email addresses but only the physical addresses that I've saved.

(And then, of course, the minute you submit any email to the NYTimes it immediately creates an "account" and starts sending you subscription offers.)

My Firefox account is linked to both my Android phone and my Mac. However, I’ve noticed that some browsing history entries available on my Android phone do not appear on my Mac. Most likely, these visits were recorded before I connected my Firefox account to my Android device.

Both devices are running the latest version of Firefox, and sync is fully enabled. I also manually triggered a sync just a moment ago.

Could you please let me know how I can import or sync my existing browsing history from my Android phone to my Mac at this point?

Hello. My macBook recently died. I was signed into Firefox, so my tabs should have saved. I tried to open / upload them onto my new iMac desktop. But for some reason it only keeps wanting to mirror the open tabs on my iPad, which is not what I want. I want to resurrect the tabs open on my macBook before it died. How do I best do this please? Does FIREFOX offer an app that will read my email to me? OR (desktop Mac)

I have a DAW (Digital Audio Workstsation) (Logic is the version Apple offers. )and I've purchased many musical apps. Guitars, keyboards, etc but a lot of them have long manuals. I'd love to be able to hear the text, say while washing dishes.

I do have the CC on my television while viewing shows

Every time I try to connect to my Gmail account, the browser freezes and I have to restart it. I’ve tried everything, but nothing works. Please look into this — since your last update, Firefox has become unusable.

2 issues, first it asks me for my password over and over again until I am so angry I could scream! First my password but then oh surprise the password is wrong so I reset it and it asks for my recovery key so I go look for my recovery key and find it and copy then enter it and thats wrong. Then I look and I am fucking signed in any way! WHAT THE HELL! GOOGLE you make so much money and your destroying the planet with your tech so why can't you figure out this stupid shit already...COME ON!! 2nd, WHY ARE MY DOWNLOADS NOT GOING ONTO MY DOWNLOADS FOLDER! I am not a tech idiot!!! BTW I am an advanced user so if I am having a hard time it's because your software is garbage!!! Seriously I just need my downloads to download...That should be so easy!!! I got a random pop up on Firefox that I clicked without fully reading it, which closed Firefox and then prompted me for the administrator password (aka the password of that account on my laptop) so Firefox can install a helper tool. I did, and it did nothing. Every time I try to open Firefox I get the same pop up prompt and no matter how many times I give the password nothing happens, and I can't open the application. Clicking cancel on the prompt also does nothing.

I logged onto a different account on my laptop and can use Firefox like normal, but none of my settings/bookmarks/passwords from my other Mac account are saved here.

I would just delete and reinstall Firefox on the administrator account that is having this issue, but I don't know if I have anything properly backed up on Firefox, and I have a ton of things saved on there that I really don't want to lose. What do I do? Please help :(
