Firefox 137.0.1, how can I make the scroll bar wider? I tried modifying 'widget.non-native-theme.scrollbar.size.override' in about.config but setting it to 40 made no difference.

I have an "Ad Blocker" problem for years. I read the instructions "Adblck Plus Instructions" I cannot find "Beneath “Block ads on”, click the large blue toggle next to “This website”, no matter what I do. What am I doing wrong?

When I put my laptop to sleep, websites I am logged into are often logged out when I return. Note that I don't close Firefox. The tabs generally reopen but require login again. Windows 11, Firefox 137.0.1

For example, I put my laptop to sleep for lunch. When I returned, tabs were there, but I was logged out of gmail, Discord, and a website I was logged into.

This seems to happen more frequently recently, but not every time, as far as I know. But this is a relatively new problem, possibly related to a new laptop. Occasionally I get a message that there is trouble restoring my session.

i share my computer and when someone else uses the browser they see the last page I used. Emails open and they can see my private emails. how do I stop this without erasing history everytime I use it

When I first open Firefox from the icon in my taskbar the opening window says the following:

'Unable to connect Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at 0.0.0.4. The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments. If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network connection. If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the web.'

However this is only the first window, after that I can open a new tab in the same window without any problems.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox without avail. Can anyone help please?

For about a week now, I have been unable to read any pdf document I download. The body of the document is completely black (that is black, not blank). When I go to save the document, it is saved as a black (unreadable) document. I have had to switch to using another browser in order to be able to download/save a readable pdf document. How can I fix this issue?

Добрый день! Несколько дней назад на всех ПК в школе обнаружилась проблема: при загрузке файлов ярлык папки windows перестал работать как ярлык и стал восприниматься как файл формата .lnk . Теперь чтобы зайти в ярлык нужно использовать контекстное меню. Кажется, это произошло после последнего обновления. Заметил, когда прикреплял вложение в почте. Проблема сохраняется в разных почтах - mail.ru, yandex.ru, gmail.com. Скрины во вложении Спасибо!

Why does Mozilla say insane things like put your passwords in a safe place? Mozilla just today made mine disappear. Can the morons at Mozilla understand the problems this has caused? I may have inadvertantly blocked Firefox from executing. I run Windows 11 on my desktop, and use SpyBot as my virus defender. Last night SpyBot may have run and prevented Firefox from running. This morning it would not open at all, no matter using a shortcut button or activating the program directly from Menu. I tried re-installing, but a window opens saying, "Hmm. For some reason we could not install Firefox." I tried uninstalling Mozilla but the window opens to initiate the process but in 20 minutes less than 1% of the procedure bar is lit and blinking. Do you have any suggestions?

I am trying to use my recovery key, but the form does not accept the letter Ø. The letter Ø is nok defekt at my computer. What could be the problem, and how do I fix it?

For some reason about three or four weeks ago my search results stopped showing images. A few will show up on the results page, but if I choose "Images,' I get a page that's completely empty. Behavior is not repeated with Edge or Chrome. Any suggestions? Thanks.

the latest update 136.0.3 is broken. When right-clicking an item, none of the choices work (e.g. right-clicking on any word brings up a menu with 'open in new tab' as a choice, but nothing happens)

Firefox will not start on my PC, so in the process of troubleshooting, I reset my password to get into this Mozilla support site. I saw the notice about losing sync data, so I followed the instructions. I changed the password, then went to my iPhone, where Firefox is running. However, when I tried to create the backup, it would not take the new password. I presume that since it was running on the old password (which I do not remember), which is the password required for the backup. Next, I logged out of Firefox on my iPhone and logged back in with the updated password. Now my data seems to be gone.

I have two other devices running Firefox, iPad and another PC. I need to know how to create a backup that I can restore my sync data.
