How specifically do I stop the current version of Firefox for Android from automatically refreshing its self without me specifically refreshing it? This is such a widespread nuisance for people, why can you guys not fix this?
Quality of Sound is a bit better in other browsers using you tube, I tested that today, I hope you find a fix

also if i discard them manually from about:unloads manually whenever i restart firefox all discarded tabs come back to life is it supposed to do that?

Firefox no longer opens up an html page when the link is in the email. The link can be opened manually. I have received email notifications that my email program does not handle html content emails. This started a couple of weeks or a month or so ago. I suspected Thunderbird was the problem so I removed it and installed the latest version. No change everything the same. So is the problem in Firefox ? As I installed Firfox with Ubuntu I need to wait on Ubuntu to fix the problem. On certain websites , the audio and video still auto play even though the option, "AutoPlay" is blocked for both audio and video.
Please see the attached screenshot which shows that auto play is blocked, it is circled in red. While the video has auto played, circled in orange with a timestamp of 17 seconds being played prior to it being manually stopped.
Please fix this issue.

All of a sudden one day my bookmarks vanished. This is annoying, but what's worse is that I'm unable to add more. I click on the little star at the top to try to save a page, and nothing happens. I go into the sidebar, try to do it there, nothing happens. I click Command D (on a Mac) to try it through the shortcut and nothing happens. I've tried signing in under different log ins to see if that's the problem, but that doesn't work either. I'm totally confused. Any help is appreciated.

When I go to view an already open tab it will sometimes randomly move it to the very end of my tabs all the way to the right. I don't want it to move tabs without my intervention. Clicking on a tab should keep it in place.
This has been an issue for about 2 months now. I'm not sure what's causing it or even if it's entirely a Firefox issue as I have noticed something similar happen in another program with tabs that I use often. It still seems like a Firefox issue in that moving a tab all the way to the end is a very specific task that can't normally be done accidentally.
Is there a way to prevent this from happening or has anyone figured it out?

I took a look today and I had 237 MB in cookies! This was after clearing the cache of all files. I've only had this (new) machine a couple months.
Short version: Sites have "cookies" from 200kb to as much as 34MB! For many of the sites over 3MB I have no account and have visited them only briefly.
To be clear, I don't care about the space being used. It's trivial. But what the heck is FFox storing and calling it "cookies"? Last I checked, a site was still limited to 4K size cookies and perhaps 50 per domain. So how are we getting to MB+ sized "cookies" per site? Again, the cache was cleared, so what's left aside from trivial cookie files of <4KB?

Hi, as the title says, they stopped displaying after I installed the latest update for firefox for my computer (macbook air with the apple M1 chip). I have checked that in the settings I have "Show an image preview when you hover on a tab" enabled and that in my config I have both browser.tabs.hoverPreview.enabled and browser.tabs.hoverPreview.showThumbnails set to true. What could the issue possibly be now?
