Hi there, When I turned my laptop on this morning everything from my browsing history and pinned tabs to my bookmarks and passwords was just...poof...gone. I feel like someone stole my first born. Not sure if I'm just in a panic and not remembering how to fix this easily but regardless, please can someone help me:'(

After an update on F***fox meant I could not access my emails or radio programmes, etc, etc, I reverted F***fox and refused to update it daily. Now it has updated itself and I have lost all my bookmarks, hundreds of them. WTH have you criminals done?

I had around 3000 tabs open I closed the browser completely today. Normally when I reopen firefox all those tabs were appearing still. This time none of the tabs restored I can see tabs in history part namede 19.01.2026 although not all my tabs are there. When ever I try to reload them from the restore history part; firefox doesnt reply and doesnt take the command.

3 times now, my account has completely reset, forcing me to log into everything again and not working with the key that I copy and pasted and downloaded. I would like my old data back. Why does this keep happening?

В том числе с подменой данных в папке sessionstore-backups: запускал браузер - находил эту папку - вставлял нужный файл .jsonlz4 - перезапускал браузер. В таком случае все мои вкладке были на месте НО после закрытия-открытия браузера сессия снова сбрасывается. При очистке браузера, появлялась кнопка "восстановить предыдущие вкладки", восстановление происходило, НО закрыл-открыл браузер - и снова пусто. Пробовал удалить браузер и установить снова - та же проблема. После запуска, если открыть журнал - в разделе недавно закрытые вкладки, недавняя история поиска - пусто, как будто предыдущей сессии вообще не было. Как исправить эту проблему? Примечание - мои закладки, введённые пароли и расширения на месте.

I thought I was just upgrading my Mozilla/Firefox account account and now everything I had is gone. I had an automatic taskbar that went to most of my frequently used services like my bank, yahoo mail, etc. Now I have stupid stuff that I never use. Makes me want to switch to something else.

After the latest auto update all of my history, tabs/windows, and bookmarks were deleted and I can't recover them. I have tried importing bookmarks and it does not allow me to upload an old data file and I can't restore my previous session. I tried checking both profiles but neither had my information saved and now when I open the about:profiles says "Another copy of Firefox has made changes to profiles. You must restart Firefox before making more changes."

I'm scared to try anything else because I don't want to mess anything up further but I really need my tabs and history back.

I restarted my computer and then reopened firefox and it had updated and I noticed my bookmarks were gone but my windows/tabs were open, so I tried to choose a file on the bookmark backup and nothing was happening so I restarted and after that all my history and tabs were gone and I couldn't restore them.

This keeps happening and is getting worse every day.

Firefox is refusing to load tabs sometimes every few hours but recently every few minutes so I have to shut it down and restart it, sometimes when I do I lose all my pinned and non pinned tabs, I can't remember what they are so manually restoring them doesn't work.

There should be a way to backup all tabs so they can be restored when this happens.

FIX IT FFS.

OS: Linux Mint Latest update of Firefox

All of my bookmarks have been disappeared with a new automatic update (9/22) and now I'm left with no bookmarks at all. My other devices were not synced because my work computer needed different links saved. Any easy options for recovery? The bookmark management tool shows no options to import bookmarks and clicking any of the restore or import options does literally nothing. This is a huge issue for work flow and is putting me out of schedule. Why would an update remove ALL bookmarks? Seems like a serious over look in function.

I had to restore my Macbook pro last week due to passwork issue. In bring back my firefox I went to restore my bookmark/book marks toolbar and the bookmarks restored were YEARS old. Does anyone know how to restore most current back up? Doesnt seem to have been save properly on my system/iCloud.

I just transferred my data from an old computer with Windows 10 and now have Windows 11 on my new computer with a new version of firefox as my browser. How do I restore my bookmarks?
