I recently got a new PC, and all my information was erased from it. I thought it wouldn't be a problem, as I expected to get everything back by logging into my account. However, after trying to sync my account for hours and searching on Google and YouTube for solutions, none of my information has returned.

When I contacted the person I bought the PC from, he said he couldn't help because I had forgotten to do something, possibly related to a Firefox update. I'm devastated and was hoping someone here could help. Is there a moderator or administrator who could assist with account recovery?

Earlier today I reformatted my device but when I logged in to firefox I can only see my history is getting synced my bookmarks are empty, I've checked and bookmarks are check off and they should be synced. How do I get them to sync? It has worked fine in the past. Thanks.

Nothing is synching

My bookmarks bar, etc have will not synced with my Firefox even though I ran "sync" several times. I haven't used this laptop in quite awhile, so I had to log in and sync. Also in my themes, a certain creator "MaDonna" has error messages on all of them" Cabin in the Mountains (and all others by her) by MaDonna could not be verified for use in Firefox and has been disabled." In my extensions page, I get the same error message. I am beyond frustrated, I'm also very computer literate, but this mess has me baffled and frustrated :(

I have a Windows Surface Pro 8 and when I set it up, I had no issues with the Syncing or Add ons/Themes/Extensions, everything synced just fine. I have Theme categories set up, and that's not even on the Themes page. I have logged into all of my Firefox/Mozilla accounts. Can anyone help?

Sync tabs between window devices

my tabs are not syncing between my window laptops. Everything else does. I have verified the tabs sync is checked. How do I fix it?

Unable to synch my desktop and laptop

Sync works fine between my Android phone and my devices, in that I can see open tabs on the phone from both devices. But what does not work is sync between the laptop and desktop. They are both listed as connected devices along with the phone, both are signed in, both synch with the phone but neither will sync with the other, so I can't see the open tabs on either device. Is this an issue or is it by design? Thank you.

So I deleted my old mozilla account since I abandoned the email that it was linked to, but when I tried to sync with my new account I get this. Is there anyway to do this without having to make a new profile?

I tried making a new profile and copy and pasting my profile into the new one, but still get the same pop up. I guess there's something in my profile that says it's been synced before, is there anyway I can find that and delete it or change it?

With Firefox Android on my tablet, bookmarks are not syncing that i see when logged into my Firefox account on other devices. I tried logging out and in to my Firefox accont and also unchecking and checking the "sync bookmarks" box. Firefox Android says "bookmarks are now synced". But they aren't!

Bookmark Sync not working

I upgraded to Windows 11 yesterday. I have always been logged in to Firefox with my email, so I thought the bookmarks will come back once I log in on the new windows, but that didn't happen. Some of these bookmarks are work related, so they're fairly important.

Although I'm using the same email, my profile picture is gone too—replaced with a default one. (Not AI generated sentence. I just like using Em dashes)

What could have happened and what can I do to get my bookmarks back? I appreciate any suggestion you can give me.

Cannot sync

I have 3 devices connected to Mozilla account, 2 smartphones and 1 PC and NONE of them are syncing properly, bookmarks sync perfectly and everything else fails miserably.… (மேலும் படிக்க)

I have 3 devices connected to Mozilla account, 2 smartphones and 1 PC and NONE of them are syncing properly, bookmarks sync perfectly and everything else fails miserably. Some part of history does sync but nowhere near the full history. Syncing of open tabs is *completely* broken.

Yesterday I only change the photo in my Firefox profile. Today I can't log-in to synchronize my account. When I click on "Anmelden" (German for "log-in") at the top right corner, a new tab opens, I can enter my e-mail adress, klick onto the button "Anmelden oder registrieren" (German for "log-in or register") it fades out and nothing else happens. I can access my account here as I logged in to send this message. What is the issue? How can I start synchronizing my account again? My Firefox version is 146.0 Thanks in advance, Chris

Bookmarks do not carry over to other devices. Sync is useless.

I have no idea what to do other than going back to chrome where things just worked and I didn't have to spend hours looking at forums for solutions that do not work...
