I can see no way to download passwords or bookmarks on my android phone, so I can email them to myself, open on my PC and add them to PC Firefox. I have signed in to the same account on both devices, and turned sync on on both devices. I receive no passwords or bookmarks on the PC. I had to re-install Windows 11, and now I cant get my passwords or bookmarks onto my PC.

Lost Bookmarks after Microsoft upgrade(?) Since I'm using the latest version of Windows I don't know what to call what happened that came by way of Microsoft. So far as I know, I'm the only one reporting this. It would seem that if this was a change initiated by Microsoft it should have affected millions of users.

Every time I start Firefox after closing it, I get a screen saying "Your Firefox has been updated" plus an announcement about editing PDFs in Firefox. My degault home screen does not appear unless I click the "home" icon. This is frustrating, because the update message just won't go away.

Got new desktop and cannot retrive my bookmarks. Granted old machine was 16 yrs old. I'd figure Firefox would have have a back up system. I'm 70 years young and this has got me scraching my head!!!! Not a computer expert. Thanks George

Long time user of Firefox and this issue of the Recaptcha Failed while never even opening the Recaptcha for selecting all the bikes, buses or whatever else it asks you to find in order to validate. This is a new install of the latest version of Firefox, I have no problem with Recaptcha using Chrome but prefer Firefox's privacy. I pay bills, work jobs from the internet which requires recaptcha to work in the browser I am using. I have not seen a answer anywhere to fix this problem which only happens in Firefox. Firefox will not longer close without also closing my pinned tabs which pretty much defeats the purpose of pinning tabs for later and makes it much harder to keep track of things. I didn't notice the first time and lost my pinned tabs that had been there for months, I immediately put them back but now everytime I try exiting firefox it informs me i'm about to close however many tabs are open + the pinned tabs. Does anyone know how to solve the problem/what might be causing it.

If I go on any website using OSM data (including OpenStreetMap itself) on Firefox logged into my account, I experience a lot of slowdown. This doesn't happen when I use incognito mode or when I use another browser, so I'm pretty sure there's some kind of cache or something that's connected to my Mozilla account that slows down OSM massively. I've tried clearing all cache and all cookies. I've even refreshed Firefox using the installer and it's still slow. I don't want to bother with deleting my account and creating a new one. What should I do to try and return back to normalcy on OSM?

I often hit ^T (control-T) in firefox without meaning to, because I use that chord in other applications a lot. In firefox it opens a new tab, which is almost never what I want. I'd like to suppress that keyboard shortcut. I tried doing it using vimium (unmap <c-t>) but that has no effect.

Every time I try to view a pdf file on Firefox I can view the file but in the lower right 1/4 of the screen I get a graphic of a page with shaded areas representing lines with writing on them. There is a type of pen cursor moving along the line.

This happens with different pdfs - from the internet and from my saved files. This doesn't happen on another computer with Firefox.

I've deleted and redownloaded Firefox an number of times, also tried troubleshoot mode - no improvement. Virus scanned, restarted a number of times.

Pdfs work on edge and chrome and reader with no problem.

I don't have any idea who is the owner of 'solitity.co.in', but these pop ups are annoying and know that I click on any of the options - I will be in trouble for other things these pop ups can do to my computer.

I can only access my Yahoo email page in Firefox private browsing mode. Please help. This has gone on about a week. I have cleared cache, reinstalled Firefox anew, tried everything until I saw a discussion on line about trying private mode. Bill Schuetter

When I was previously using Firefox in Kubuntu 22.04, if I downloaded something I could go to the Downloads icon and click on the download and it would open in the desired application. After a failed upgrade to 24.04 I had to do a reinstall and now in Kubuntu 24.04, if I click on a downloaded file it will always bring up a window with "Open the file link with okular?" and the buttons Cancel and Open Link below. How do I go back to the previous way of it working?

For quite some time, certain pop ups will not appear when trying to work in Google Sheets through the Firefox desktop browser. I have gone into the browser's settings and allowed pop ups for the exact link for Google Sheets, but that has not fixed the issue. The pop ups that won't work are the ones for resizing columns/rows, and the "Save as a PDF" export option. If I open my Google Sheets in Google Chrome, it works just fine, but I switched to Firefox so I could stop using that browser. Any insight on how to fix this is much appreciated.
