I opened a profile that I had just used recently to a blank tab bar. I closed it and the sessionstore-backup folder did not have a recent backup, The most recent about a week old.

Just for testing, I tried to restore with one of the upgrade.jsonlz4 file, about 2 weeks old, but it also had no session. I then restored one that was 2 months old. That one had a session

Now, Firefox no longer generates the upgrade.jsonlz4 files

Hello, my wife recently broke her computer, so I bought a new one and gave her my old one. Yesterday she deleted a lot of my bookmarks, which are no longer available on my account. Is there any way to retrieve them?

My laptop's motherboard is being replaced. While that process is ongoing, I'm using a spare laptop from my employer. I didn’t realize that resetting my password would delete all of my saved passwords, bookmarks, etc. Will they still be available on the laptop that’s being repaired, since it wasn’t synced with the Firefox servers?

Hello! I had to change my laptop for work and there were very important settings, passwords, etc., which I successfully restored on new devices. I forgot my password and had to reset it via email, after which I can't sync. I don't have visited tabs or anything else. Please restore my account history. I was not aware of the data being cleared when resetting the password.

I recently had to do a hard reset on my Windows 11 PC. When I reinstalled Firefox, tried to retrieve my bookmarks, they are not there. Is there anyway to retrieve those book marks from 6 months ago?

When I opened Firefox today, all my bookmarks are gone and a message about a Firefox is opened by another application is showing. None of your online suggestions helped. Is there a hidden way to restore Firefox to another version?

hello how do i recover firefox bookmarks and passwords from win 10 computer that failed motherboard hard drive ok . and put them on new win11 computer i did not have a firefox account on old drive or sync setup but i can access files on old drive.

I'm not exactly clueless, but I'm not an engineer. For some reason, I had three open Firefox/Mozilla browsers open on the taskbar but connected to one icon. Today, I've lost the browser with all of my frequently used sites, and tons of research, family, friends, World War II, finances, etc. The other two browsers had one tab, and maybe ten-fifteen tabs, respectively.

How do I restore the main browser?

I use the Firefox browser.

While online, as I pressed a letter , Firefox closed, and its icon on the Taskbar disappeared.

After finding a Mozilla support page, and updating the browser, I found that all of my Bookmarks had disappeared.

And even worse. I tapped the 3 bars in the upper right corner to go to > Settings > Privacy Security > Saved Passwords. All of my Passwords were eliminated too. This is disastorous.

Okay, we had a power outage while my computer was on. When I rebooted, everything worked but Firefox. The sites would come up, but the keyboard would not work. (It worked on every other program.) So, I "reset Firefox." In that process, it made me add the Webroot extension. Now, my new tabs folder is all wrong. It is full of ads. It does not have my regular new tabs. And when I click on facebook or amazon, it does not take me where I want to go.

How can I sync my laptop new tabs to my desktop?

Or, how can I restore my old new tabs on my desktop?

Firefox crashed and I cannot recover my tabs from history. I click on restore all tabs and it does nothing. The tabs I was hoping to recover do not even appear in my history either.

All my bookmarks are dissappear. I tried follow the instructions how to restore, but it's still didn't work. when I select Manage bookmark, Import/back up, select files. It pops up an error. Is there any other solutions that you can help me with. thank you very much for your concern and support.
