Recently, Firefox updated and ask me to setup a profile, which I have not yet done since importing my data from google chrome in 2025. After skipping the setup, Firefox then deleted all my data and it has since been irecoverable. I have already checked the box last update that specifically said to not ask me again for setting up my profile. After the recent update, the question popped up again and now I cannot recover my original profile, all my browsing history, all my browser-saved data, and all my cookies and logins

We have a web page we've created that is linked to by multiple other websites. For two of the sites where this is linked, Firefox (only) gives a "The Page Isn't Redirecting Properly" error. Using the exact same URL to link from other sites works fine in all browsers. Once you get the error, if you click in the URL and hit enter, the page will load fine. Any ideas? When searching that error, all the ideas I find tend to focus on the individual user's system, but this is happening for all users.

When I click on Privacy & Settings and then Cookies and Site Data and select Clear Browsing Data and the select everything. It does not seem to clear the cache when I select Clear

This is what shows up: Your stored cookies, history, site data, and cache are currently using 108 MB of disk space.

I had expected it to be close to zero.

What's the scoop?

Once again, when I updated Firefox, it changed a LOT of my settings, including displaying the toolbar and open tabs bar.

When this happened last - months ago - it seems Mozilla realized this had happened to a lot of users, and managed to restore us to all the information that had been "lost".

I hope you can do that again, and can find a way to not put at least ME, and I'd bet a lot of other users, through the OMG!!! What do I do NOW?! panic.

the only reason ive been using firefox is because its one of the few browsers that doesnt use AI. now this? anthony enzor-demeo what in the hell is wrong with you? no one wants this, stop pushing AI in a browser we all use SPECIFICALLY to avoid other browsers' (like chrome) sell out. i dont care if there's opt out I don't want this to be an option in the first place, and I know a lot of others feel the same.

i am not the kind of person who has brand loyalty, and if you continue with this I'll find something else to use.

There are so many reasons why people don't want AI on Firefox. If I wanted AI, I'd go and use a chromium browser. I came to Firefox to get away from AI bull, not to have it shoved down my throat here as well.

If the new AI changes roll out I'm going to be finding another browser that won't risk my privacy just for a machine that only works half the time or add to AI centers destroying the environment. Thanks!

when I right-click a highlighted word in Firefox browser - to 'Search Google for...', it takes me to Yahoo.com instead, although Google is defined as 'Default Search Engine'. Why? How to fix it to Google search?

All my Firefox bookmarks are GONE. I followed the directions for restoration, and the Restore (etc) window has nothing in it. I saved the bookmarks to a JSON (HTML) file on an external hard drive, but I cannot find a way to restore them. I'm just about tired of Firefox and the consistent problems. Please restore my faith. I love firefox. I recommend it to everyone. Because it's the only browser that appeared to have my best interest at heart. I develop extensions firefox-first rather than chrome-first. I don't want generative AI getting anywhere near any of my things, and I'm sorry to say I've switched to Waterfox for now. Please backtrack on this, I just want to use the internet without AI plastered in my face :<

translate wont work , i have 2 pc win 10 pro , same IP in china , on 1 pc is workking , but on the other one it wont , i did new install , refresh , disabled add-ons exc , my language set to english and i need to translate chinese intoo english please help thanks

Reposting until I get help from someone. Windows/desktop. On Google Chrome, any streaming website I used with autoplay enabled would KEEP full screen mode ON after changing episodes. It would automatically go to a new page with the following episode and remain full screen. Why doesn't Firefox have this feature?? I'm seriously considering going back to Google Chrome for this one small feature. Every time I had any streaming service playing with autoplay enabled, I didn't have to manually select the full screen option every time. I am having to stand up and manually click full screen function. Every. Single. Time. Somebody please help me if there's a way to active that function.
