When i go to "about:memory" and do a measurement to see whats eating memory i find extensions that are nowhere to be found in the extension manager nor in the folders where the extension files are. they are: - Extension(id=wikipedia@search.mozilla.org, name="Wikipedia (en)", baseURL=moz-extension://8551 - Extension(id=webcompat@mozilla.org, name="Web Compatibility Interventions", baseURL=moz-extensi - Extension(id=screenshots@mozilla.org, name="Firefox Screenshots", baseURL=moz-extension://486 - Extension(id=pictureinpicture@mozilla.org, name="Picture-In-Picture", baseURL=moz-extension:// - Extension(id=google@search.mozilla.org, name="Google", baseURL=moz-extension://13f3307a-648b- - Extension(id=formautofill@mozilla.org, name="Form Autofill", baseURL=moz-extension://dfdf20df- - Extension(id=ddg@search.mozilla.org, name="DuckDuckGo", baseURL=moz-extension://c8eb7a13-e1ab - Extension(id=bing@search.mozilla.org, name="Bing", baseURL=moz-extension://424719d2-8ccf-4c8e- - Extension(id=addons-search-detection@mozilla.com, name="Add-ons Search Detection", baseURL=moz- (the names are cut thats how it shows and at the end there is a "..." i cant select) I tried looking everywhere and i cant find where are this extensions to delete them. i use the google website to do searches so dont need an extension, i dont use duckduckgo at all, i dont use bing at all, i dont use the screenshot feature, i dont use the picture in picture thing and also i use the wbesite if i want to go to wikipedia. I would like to know how to erase them entirely since i dont use them and they are eating memory.

Secure connection cannot be established

When a website that requires a secure (HTTPS) connection tries to secure communication with your computer, Firefox cross-checks this attempt to make sure that the website certificate and the connection method are actually secure. If Firefox cannot establish a secure connection, it will display a Secure Connection Failed or Did Not Connect: Potential Security Issue error page. Secure Connection Failed

A Secure Connection Failed error page will include a description of the error and a Try Again button. There is no option to add a security exception to bypass this type of error.

106.0.2 locks up Windows Explorer (Not Responding) on my Win 7 machine as soon as it starts. After restarting Explorer, it seems to continue working. I have seen this issue reported earlier.

For some reason my tab icons look a little low, and I would like them more vertically centered.

I've been trying to move these icons around using some older code that doesn't seem to work anymore.

The code below no longer has any effect.

Does anyone know how to move the tab icons up 1 pixel?

Because the economy, inflation, and lower incomes are still a major problem, many users like myself need to continue using old computers that can only run Windows 7. So we need Firefox ESR 115 to continue being supported with updates for at least a couple more years.

I'm using the OneTab add-on, Enabled. The icon no longer shows on the Toolbar, though it is on the Menu bar next to Firefox View.

I ran Remove and then Added it again, hoping the Toolbar Icon would reappear = no go, And I lost all URLs already saved, stupid me. To be clear, clicking the Icon on the Toolbar saves all open tabs.

I go to Central Pacific Bank's website and try to pay my bills, but when I click on "Pay bills" it does not do anything. Before it would go to pay bills. Now when I click it does not respond. There website is not responding. So I try on America Online browser and no problem. I can pay my bills. How come with Firefox it now does not work? This is the second time I am having problem with Firefox and it is becoming annoying. What's the problem?

I would like to change the color of the two highlighted URLs in the address bar's drop down list to what they were in FF 88 - the one that is currently selected with the cursor keys, and the one the mouse pointer is over.

The first screenshot below is of the highlight colors in FF 115/125. You can see two different shades of gray, the darker gray being the URL selected with the cursor keys, the lighter gray being the one the mouse pointer is over.

The second image shows the colors from FF 88, the URL selected with cursor keys in blue, and a dark gray for the one the mouse pointer is over.

Any help in modifying these colors, and the radius of the selection is greatly appreciated!

Deleting autofill entries does not work per article. The info is still there. Clearing history does not work either. Do I need to restart computer for it to forget/delete entries? Thank you. Fred couvrette

Hello: Passwords from CSV file: "firefox logins.csv" does NOT show up in the "Import Browser Data" box? I reinstalled a fresh copy of Windows7 and firefox (Firefox Setup 115.14.0esr.exe). I'm unable to import my "Passwords from CSV file" because it is not included in the "Import Browser Data" box (see Attachments (pics). Note: I do not use the Browser in this picture only firefox. How than can I import this .csv file? Regards -mdc

i went to about:config -> browser.translations.enable and also browser.translations.automaticallyPopup , making sure it reads "false", and also went to Firefox Menu > Settings > General > Language and Appearance and under Languages the only language other than spanish (the language i want the browser to be) is english (maybe that way it recognizes it as an "allowed" language or something and doesnt translate from it)

...but it still translates pages from english (sometimes even translating the search result and directing me to a translate-version of the page instead of to the the page itself).

how can i make it not translate things from english anymore? (if the only solution is to stop translating altogether from any language, i'll gladly take it as long as it stops translating from english)

Contrast disappears when I klick 'Login' eg. on 'https://www.elektor.de/'; other browsers are ok. AdGuard on or off makes no difference. Kind Regards [removed email from public]

Ever since Facebook started infesting the chats with end-to-end encryption (random chats get "Messenger upgraded the security of this chat. Messages and calls are secured with end-to-end encryption" without my permission or asking if I want this), any encrypted chats have audio and video calls disabled. I note that I have ONE friend for whom it didn't do this, I can still do calls with her. If I receive a call, I get a pop-up saying that to receive this call I must download the Messenger app (no way) or a browser which supports it. If I check what browsers it thinks supports this, it only lists Chrome and Edge. As far as I know Edge is just Internet Explorer renamed, the biggest black hole in security, I've never touched it. Chrome ignores industry standards, so I don't use it. Making Firefox the best, top browser available. It's the only browser I wish to use. Mozilla needs to look into how to get Facebook to stop blacklisting Firefox like this. Note that this E2EE garbage has only been infecting things for the last few months, before that I was perfectly able to do any calls I wished in Facebook Messenger.

I am trying to upload a document on the Supreme Court portal (UK) but it won't work I am told because my browser has to allow pop ups and cookies. Where can I get Firefox to so allow?
