I used Chrome until two days ago. I just got tired with how shitty the browser was, how bloated it made my computer, and how much Google treats everyone like a data product. However, I use hella google systems from Voice to Chrome to Drive to more and it all worked great together. Choosing to change to Firefox wasn't an easy decision but I knew it was a good one

Which makes it super irritating that some of the functionality is already facing problems. I have shortcuts I built to make it easier to study or do random things so I don't get distracted or tired. One shortcut is clicking a key that should launch UWorld in my default browser & use Lastpass to autologin (I couldn't get it to launch the service but that was a separate issue).

I check if autologin was on for the password on LastPass I've allowed all permissions to the LastPass extension I clear my cookies on UWorld & turned off enhanced tracking protection for the UWorld login portal site

What should I do to fix my one button shortcut again?

I really don't want to go randomly turning off every protection that Firefox gives me to figure it out so I'd appreciate someone who understands the browser better helping me out. Also, bonus points if you can help me build a single shortcut button on my Mac that can launch UWorld & navigate me straight to the question bank. (I do think the issue with autologin on LastPass is going to become more of an issue as I start opening up more websites I used to use on Chrome so I'd rather nip it in the bud before I see the problem occur more often)

Web pages that are supposed to contain emojis are blank. I can highlight where emojis are supposed to be shown but the actual images of the emojis aren't there. about:config font.name-list.emoji correctly contains "Apple Color Emoji" If it is relevant, this has been a bug/issue that has persisted for a couple of months now (can't name an exact date).

I downloaded the latest version of Firefox. The directions tell me to open the file that i just downloaded, which is fine, except that I don't know the file name or location. What is it, and where is it? or how do I f find out?

Firefox is stuck in a loop! After installing the 145 update, it just keeps asking me to sign into with my admin credentials to install "a new helper tool" over and over. After entering my password nothing happens and when I try to relaunch, the FF icon just bounces. ("Force Quit" shows that the application is not responding.) After multiple attempts, I rebooted my laptop, but it didn't help, as I still get the request for installing the helper too. I'm in the midst of multiple project deadlines and this is very frustrating! Thanks in advance for your help.

For the last month or so every time I restart Firefox (macOS 15.1.1) it asks for the master password, which I have saved in a third party password manager. Every time the prompt pops up I use my password and it won't accept it so I have to reset my password. This week I deleted the app from my computer, rebooted, redownloaded Firefox, and reinstalled it without any change in the behavior. Anyone have any ideas?

Can MacOS High Sierra play Netflix? I cannot update to the most recent Firefox because my 2012 iMac cannot update to Catalina. Netflix says I need a new version of Firefox. How can I use Netflix on my iMac?

I updated my MAC OS, my Firefox IS up to date. My RING website Log-In no longer works on Firefox, yet is DOES work using Safari, which I never use. Is there a setting on the latest Firefox I can change so I can access my RIng account from my Desktop browser? It DID work last month

This does not work anymore and I get an edit drop down with copy, paste etc It works on Chrome and Safari. I checked the config for "browser.fixup.alternate.suffix" and it is set to .com.

I am using the Firefox browser on my iMac. Suddenly, I am not able to 'sign in' or access pages of common websites. I am getting blank pages or pages with the ever-circling ball when trying to access websites, like homedepot.com, shutterfly.com, etc. I can access them via safari.

I have gone through the Troubleshooting steps, have Uninstalled Firefox and Reinstalled, etc. What is happening with my browser?

When I clear History and cache, either using the menu or quitting the browser (which has the preference set to clear upon closing), then go back to the same Web site I was on, it uses an old version of the page not one that I revised and uploaded on the server. How do I force it to go look in the server anew, or stop using files that I thought I could clear.

My computer does not support the latest firefox software update so i was wondering if you can send me me the firefox 115.0 version firefox softare? I tried to search for it online but i wasn't able to find any because the software i have for firefox now won't let me open some pages on websites because i have a old version firefox software. So please send me the 115.0 version software so that i can download and update my firefox software. Thank you

Regardless of website Accordion controls don't work / open to show information. These controls work fine in other browsers and work fine on the same sites. Is there a setting I am missing. it also works on other macs I own. Thanks

I am running an iMac Catalina 10.15.7. Since Firefox just updated itself my system keeps crashing so bad that I have to do a hard shut down. Yesterday I had to do this over a dozen times to get through my session. Firefox was the last browser compatible with my Mac. Is this no longer the case?

in Austria I used to sign documents with the mobil phone and TAN-code. The system changed (now ID-Austria) where it is possible to sign documents using fingerprint, eye-scan or a FIDO2-key like Idem-key or YubiKey. It seems that this should be possible for Mac-users using google chrome. I don´t want to install google chrome only to sign documents! Is there a possibility to define a code for using FIDO2 keys with firefox. Keys are already defined in Mac settings but I can not use them to sign. thank you Robert

My upper Apple menu is not visible unless I move the cursor up to the top of screen. This is the menu bar which includes the File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, Tools, Window, Help, icons and clock. I can't find how to correct this.

Hi, I installed the latest iOS update yesterday and afterwards my firefox was mush. I tried reinstalling it already. The symptoms are as following: - can no longer use my 1password extension - YouTube and LinkedIn doesn't load at all anymore - For my agency tool Moco I can see most of the page but the menu is totally hidden to me...

How should I fix the frozen browser. Firefox updated ok from another user account on this computer, though Firefox has always updated for all accounts on the computer when updated from any of the accounts. The installer tool got caught in a loop to install until it froze the browser on the third retry. What should I do?

I am running an iMac that is about eight years old.This afternoon my Firefox browser was taken over by a "warning" from "MacOS security center" that I should go to THEIR macOS support site to get my system unfrozen. The number they give is 1-877-xxx-xxxx. I cannot get this intruder to go away, even by restarting the computer.
