hi i decided to revert to FF v53.0.2 because i hated the newest update which has a new toolbar. and now FF seems to hang and stall especially when i'm using facebook. is there a newer version of FF which gave us back the older toolbar? and the othe thing is that exactly one hour after i log onto FF, and every hour thereafter, something refreshes and "updates" for close to 2 minutes. this is extremely annoying and, i think, unnecessary. any clues?

So, i hated Firefox 57 and i had enough of it after using it for about a year and switched back to Firefox 53. Now even after using Snyc and putting the Bookmarks toolbar items on the Bookmark Toolbar, My Bookmarks DON'T APPEAR. Not even Bookmarks i add. It might've been the installer i downloaded but it probably wasn't, well the only thing i can say more is OH EGADS, MY firefox bookmark toolbar IS RUINED (yes that was a joke with the Steamed Hams meme.)

I installed the latest version of Firefox on my new Windows 10 laptop. Some sites including google.com and some Mozilla pages are giving me "your connection is not secure" errors. I do not get those errors on the laptop with IE or Edge, and I do not get the errors on my Windows 7 desktop PC running an earlier version of Firefox. I had FF set to be the default browser on the new laptop so out of frustration I uninstalled FF. What could be causing these messages on reputable websites?

I want to keep my old32 bit version of firefox. I DO NOT WANT IT UPDATED.

I have already created a second profile and would like to use that for the new 64 bit install.

Is this possible. May of the extensions i have been using are not working in the 64 bit version of firefox. This is the main reason i want to have two separate versions

Can I use the Firefox "Accept cookies from sites - Exceptions" dialogue by just specifying the top part of a domain, for example using https://winehq.org to mean https://forum.winehq.org and https://bugs.winehq.org and https://appdb.winehq.org etc.?

When I click on Bookmarks/bookmark This Page the next option is Bookmarks Menu and I have to click on the down arrow before I can select bookmark toolbar.

I use the tool bar exclusively and want to change the order so that after I click on Book Mark This Page the default option is Bookmark Toolbar.

That should be simple I would think. I have 14 folders across the top of my screen and clicking the address bar and dragging into a folder doesn't work well for me as the link ends up in the wrong folder 99% of the time and then I have to go searching for it.

So I want the sequence to be:Bookmarks/Bookmark this page/bookmarks toolbar. Thanks

Running FF 53.0.2 (32-bit) on Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit).

Each time I open FF, the Bookmarks Toolbar is located above the Address Bar. I prefer it below, so I right click above the Address Bar and select Customize...

This opens the Customize FF tab which shows the Bookmarks Toolbar below the Address Bar. I then click on Exit Customize, the tab closes and the Bookmarks Toolbar is now located below the Address Bar.

However, this configuration isn't saved and the next time I open FF, the Bookmarks Toolbar has relocated to above the Address Bar.

How can I make the Bookmarks Toolbar stay where I want it?

I used to have Multifox on my Firefox browser which has been taken down or something. While searching Mozilla Support for a solution, I came upon a suggestion of using "Container Tabs" I want to do this but don't know how. Is there any type of instructions that I can look at or even print out so I can set this up?

I want the address bar to match on url and title, if i go to http://foo.com/foobarbaz then i want to type 'bar' into the address bar and have http://foo.com/foobarbaz come up as one of the options, every single time, no matter how many times i visit other websites that use the word 'bar' in their title or url

in short, i want comprehensive search of all visited pages when i type into the address bar

is this possible?

Hi, I have been trying forever to find the REAL google images search engine, so i can add it to the search bar. You know how you type in a word or phrase, and then can click that spyglass icon, to scroll down and choose a search engine? Well Google is there, but not google Images, which i use all the time. But when i click on "change search settings", and from there click on "add more search engines", all my most intense efforts to find the actual, original google images search "Google Images", only leads to a bunch of imitations that have you right-click an image and search for others like it.

But the real one, the one i want to add to my search engines drop-down, has you simply type in a word right there, and click on the icon to search. (ie., no need to click any image first!)

How can i get this real one into my search bar engines list?

I cannot access all account pages on an ordinary site like walgreens.com or see the link to a video in an article on other sites. But I open Microsoft Edge I can do both, I have no problem with anything with Edge.

Remind me please, how do I open *.mozlz4 files and how do I import search engines through *.xml files? Thanks in advance.
