Long time user of Firefox (and Thunderbird) - in last few days started getting the yellow bar warning about a web page slowing down your browser with the options to wait or... some pages I can click on wait and it will continue soon after, other times Firefox freezes and can only be stopped through task manager.

This happens on sites such as Google Maps, my financial institutions websites, etc. I've tried safe mode, refresh, disable all extensions, disable hardware acceleration, etc - nothing works..

I'm on an Spectre X360 laptop with 16 GB Ram, 512GB SSD drive, UHD display. Running Avast anti-virus. On 5Ghz wireless to 150Mpbs internet connection.

I installed Chrome to compare, not a single problem with speed and no yellow bar messages.

In past, I've had no problems with speed - even with multiple tabs open.

What happened? This just started out of the blue, at first I thought it was our ISP until I tried Chrome.

As I tried to enter my plugins below, I opened the add-ons manager and when I went back to the tab to enter them got the same yellow bar A web page... error! ON THIS PAGE!

Trying to watch https://video.nationalgeographic.com/video/news/180423-tahquamenon-falls-night-sky-milky-way-time-lapse-travel-vin-spd?source=relatedvideo --- the video is blocked (black) because (I supposed) is part of the mixed content thing, but there is no option "disable protection"...

I am currently using Ubuntu 18.04 and Firefox Quantum 59.0.2 64-bit. On some websites, I am unable to select the password field either using tab or a mouse click to be able to enter a password. This leaves me unable to login. However, this doesnt seem to happen on all password fields.

For example on https://reddit.com I can enter username and password on the field on the right. However, if I click on Login hyperlink on 'Want to join? Log in or sign up in seconds.', I get a popup which I am unable to click the password field on.

I have also seen this problem on https://abnzb.com

I have tried to run in safe-mode but the problem persists.

My addons are Gnome shell integration, Enhanced Steam, HTTPS Everywhere, uBlock origin.

Also, to add to this. When I right click on the password text fields, I do not get a menu popup. I am not sure if this is related or not.

I installed Firefox on one machine and itwas in dutch language. the installation on a second machine is in English and it won't change to dutch. What can I do ???

Bis vor wenigen Monaten erschien automatisch bei Firefox-Start der Hinweis "letzte Sitzung wiederherstellen" mit allen zuletzt geöffneten Seiten. Das hab ich nun nicht mehr. Das Help-Tool ist leider unzureichend. Erstens scheint dieser Button https://support.mozilla.org/de/kb/sitzungswiederherstellung#w_wenn-sie-azvorherige-sitzung-wiederherstellenay-aus-dem-firefox-menak-wachlen in meiner Menüleiste nicht auf. Zudem habe ich bereits in meinen Einstellungen schrittweise nach Hilfetool alles korrekt vorgenommen. Hat es etwas mit anderen Einstellungen zu tun? Wo ich versehentlich etwas angehakt habe und es deshalb die Wiederherstellung sperrt? Bitte um Hilfe. DANKE.

Installed these via the "Languages --> Add dictionaries..." menu entry in the context menu but, as I said, they are not being listed for selection. The *do* show up in the "Languages" section of the add-ons manager.

Hello: I am getting error messages when I use the Quora website,along with constant sign in requests when changing pages within the website. The most common is a banner "something went wrong" message. I have tried shutting down addons one by one,and clearing my cache and cookies. Quora operates normally when I use my Chrome browser. Any suggestions would be appreciated,thanks!

I have gone to the Asus Canada site and Asus US site. On selecting a motherboard and choosing my OS I can't see the list of drivers. I'm running FireFox 59.0.2 on Window 10 64 bit version 1709. I have disabled and uninstalled all addons and extensions to no avail.

I have also uninstalled Firefox, rebooted and reinstalled it with no change,

Each time I update firefox, it seems useful add-ons like adblockers etc suddently are no longer compatible. No warning, no "undo" option - just "this doesn't work anymore".

There doesn't seem to be any way of working out how much damage each update causes - can you not give SOME guidance to help us work out whether we need to download - and for example if we need to export out password list with an add-on before you make sure it will never work again.

Just think the odd "Update Info" with a little blurb about what is involved and what is likely to stop working would be very helpful. As it is, it seems that if you need to use add-ons, people are increasingly suggesting Chrome.

Pity, I have been with FF for years - but it does seem other browsers don't seem to have the same amount of issues with add-ons suddenly failing after an update.

Hi, As you see In the picture, this what I see most of times when I play any video or even A gif picture on facebook 85% shows like that, and only 15% works normally.. But on Youtube, Almost all videos work 98% without problems!!, this problem shows more on Facebook.. I have the latest version of my video card *Nvidia GT610 2G * And also Firefox Quantum.. And also the latest version of Adobe Flash Player.. *Windows 10, 8G Ram, Processor Intel Core I5 3470T* Although when I play any video from any other Browser, It works so normally without any problems at all!, but I love Firefox the most, I used to open from this great browser, I'm suffering from this problem for almost a year! please, I need a solution to this problem, HELP ME!

Still cannot log into my bank, due to Firefox saying 'secure connection failed' how many times do I have to ask this, its incredibly, incredibly incredibly frustrating, (saves me swearing) I can easily log in using Google so no point spouting rubbish about insecure certificates. I have used this bank for years and wether I use the link from my favourates or just from google search, I get the bank homepage up, then click log in, I get secure connection failed.

I've also tried deleting the certificate 9 thing as per instructions given before but stilll does not work. Also deleted firefox and reinstalled, still not working, so give mea clue please or I'll post this every day

After opening and closing Firefox a few times, it spams volume manager instances. I've tried updating the browser, uninstalling it and reinstalling it however nothing seems to fix it. Below is a screenshot which helps to describe the issue I'm having.

I'm aware Firefox uses multiple processes but I think having this many volume manager controls seems like it's either a bug or un-neccessary.

When I click on any mailto: link in Firefox Quantum 59.0.2 (64-bit) it opens endless blank tabs and there is no way out but to force quit the app itself. This has been going on for awhile and no update has fixed the problem yet.

Upon opening Firefox, this message appears in a box in the middle of the page.

I've gone to the site shown but can't find this error message.

I can click "OK" and move on.  But what does it mean?!  What does is WANT of me?!

I want to remove a few words that I regularly misspell because I misspell them to other word that are in the dictionary and if I remove them the common words that are alike will always be red-underlined and I can see and fix them before posting.
