I have had two email accounts for over 10 years. I have stored every important email locally in my Mac. There are many such important emails. I have closed both accounts with the email service provider and am no longer receiving emails addressed to those two addresses.
I want to delete both accounts from Thunderbird. However, i. I do not want to lose the past emails I have received in those two accounts and ii. Once the accounts have been deleted, how would I go about searching for and reading those old emails.

Running latest version of Catalina and Firefox for MacOS. The only thing I can see is the black apple and the word Firefox in the upper left hand corner. Menu is active if I roll the cursor over it but I can only read a couple of dropdown items. Anyone else having this problem? Screenshot attached.

The issue arises with the following steps
find a cell with text (not formula) place the cursor in the edit line (formula bar) backspace to remove all of the text type in new text hit enter
A new line, char(10) is inserted after the text. Confirmed with a find function.
It did this with Firefox but not Chrome. Reported in Google sheets forum title "Why are line breaks being added to cells randomly" Can't see how to add link here.

i have had this issue for a year now, with no end in sight. my interface language on my entire computer is english. everything english. the keyboard is a german keyboard because i bought my machine where i live, in austria. but my written language and all dictionaries are english. same with my preferences in firefox, english everywhere. but for some reason the language constantly switches back and forth between german and english. look at the video, it's insane. i've uninstalled and started over. i've wiped the entire computer and installed EVERYTHING fresh. no change. when i install and use firefox, it comes back. it only happens in firefox. argh. screen capture of the language switching: https://youtu.be/gq8hXs5pXm0

Check boxes and more cannot be seen in Firefox. I am attaching screenshots from Chrome and Firefox of the same gmail page. On the Chrome shot you see all the boxes and options. On the Firefox screenshot the boxes are not there. You can hover over where they should be and click but that isn't right. I'm using gmail as an example but it's on all other websites too. I would use Firefox as my default browser if it wasn't for this issue.
Never mind . Can't attach the screen shots because they are pdf files.
But here is a similar question that someone else posted and I have tried all the "solutions" posted to it:

Hello I am a Firefox user and I just updated Firefox to the latest version.I get my desktop Instagram from Firefox browser. I have all the extensions for Instagram on my Firefox add ons. I was able earlier this week to to be able to send Instagram videos to the desktop to save in a file. I can no longer send any Instagram videos to my desktop. reached out to one of the Instagram Extensions developer for Fire fox and chrome in which by the way I can send to desk top. The developer seems to think it has something to do with a code between Instagram and Firefox Please help. I want to say with Firefox and not Chrome but I may have to If i want the videos to go to my desktop. I also ran Firefox with addon disabled changed Firefox and Instagram passwords i do not know what to do Please help

Hopefully someone will pick this up? Since my Surface Pro updated to Windows 1909 everytime Firefox updates it causes problems with sound. This is whether I am watching video outside Firefox, watching You tube in Firefox or any video in Firefox.
Symptoms.
Watching video in external video player, not having opened Firefox since rebooting surface pro - no issues Open Firefox watch a couple of vids on YouTube and sound fails - try going back to watching videos outside Firefox, video still failed.
Cure- reload Windows.
New update for Firefox (yesterday) and problem re-appears again.
This happened a couple of years ago and I solved it then by deleting Firefox from my Surface Pro. After about 6 months I decided to give it another chance and all was good until after the 1909 update and Firefox updated. Reloaded Windows 1909 (clean copy) and all ok again until yesterday when Firefox updated again.
Guess I'm going to have to reload Windows again to cure the issue caused by Firefox, again.
I have been saving emails to a folder, but the last 5 months emails aren't there and I can't save to that folder.

I tried to copy to the folder tonight and nothing appeared in the folder, I created a folder with a similar name and emails were saved to it. So, can I retrieve the emails that I thought I had saved, as Thunderbird gave no indication it wasn't saving the emails some where. I have checked my server and it mirrors my desktop. Is there a limit on folder capacity ? I would appreciate any help or explanation.

Each time I open Thunderbird to receive mail Through "Mail Washer Pro" I get this message, however, the email still comes in and gets sent. Many of the incoming emails I.E. allowed adds (not spam) are missing pictures in about 60% of the senders. The rest shoe up just fine. Are they related problems or are there two different ones? I'm using Malware Bytes Premium and can't seem to find a block being caused by that.

My device is hacked since June 2 moths backi found out is Google G Suite Administration which shocked me as ive no computer or IT knowledge just this Andriod Phone, asked them to get out but nothing much i can do as ive no control over the devices subsequently i found out only Domain Administrator has such power to remove email accounts or change passwords without informing even to the extent of confiscating purchased apps n giving it away, im retired not doing business i asked them if it was a mistake but no reply, when i reported to Google's about hackers n clones, i was naive n was harrased ,bullied even had money stolen fro unauthorized online purchases, loosing accounts n recovering is a daily affair, firefox account was compromised once and i uninstalled it, currently the previous account that was stolen was easily recovered ,this few days i found out many of my stolen accounts with my previous phone number are hidden in Contacts my kid n sister ,my but what hurts n shocked was seeing my deceased late better half name been used too. Yesterday i found them in her phone which hasn't been used the last 4 yrs. They have set up shops there ,it pained me to find missing photos of her n the last pic of her in coma ,i am recovering from a major meltdown due to her passing, June was to be my return back into Social life after 4 years of being reclusive. Now a near relapse as i cant get notifications or emails are delayed when it was warning of account needsed to be secured. Vetting my mails n calls, although they told me ,my was self managed but actions speak otherwise, my location listed as GB in June then US now but im in Singapore ,please look at the screenshot i pin on top sites as i don't know how to send an attachment n my inbox at outlook for Android emails cant be sent, 80 plus drafts. I have multiple client certificates in Firefox. When I go to a site which requires a client certificate it pops up the selector for the client certificate. With Firefox 70 (I think) by default it chose a matching and valid client certificate. Now with Firefox 71 it seems to sort the client certificates by serial number and thus the one selected by default is the first one in the list, which is expired in my case. Thus, now each time I go to a site where I need a client cert I must manually pick the correct, valid certificate.
Doesn't looks like an improvement to me. Or is there a new config setting which I have missed?
