Well, looking for what you wrote, I found that Gmail is configured as:

I always used Thunederbird (since the begining) , and never noticed this kind of problem when using Lightning with Google Calendar, even after changing do CalDAVv2.

A few time ago, I think two months max, I tried to change an event in my Calendar, but the event was changed and at the same time TB popped-up a window telling that was not possible to change the event. I thought that this was something that would disappear, but it didn't and everyday this pop-up annoyes me. I need to click OK if I want to use TB. Otherwise, even w/o focus, this window prevent me from doing anything. As the time passed and it dissapeared, I can't tell what was the event.

I'm telling this, because I don't know if this issue is related, but it's too strange to me that this is happening. Today I discovered out another missing event. And this only happens using TB. My Windows Phone 8 is sync with all my Google Calendars, w/o problem.

I'm uploading a file with my TB open in my left monitor, and my Google Calendar open in my right monitor. You should see that there are 5 "Call" events, and 2 "Academia -> Casa"

Changing the setting to "No, only show invitations to which I have responded" will help. It will certainly help when you get email invitations in Lightning.

Unfortunately this doesn't make sense. When showing the appointments that I did not accepted, they will show translucid, indicating me that I was invited to the event, but I still did not answered. What indicates a possible time allocation, and I can manage my time to check which appointment takes precedence.

This is very useful when working with big set of concurrent appointments, which is my case.

And today I missed another appointment.

Well, everything used to work fine, and I don't know when it started exactly, but it was not too long ago. This year, I'm sure.

Is there any way to check deeply what is going on? Any paid support?

after several tests and a long time, I realized that recurrent events that have a lot of events changed individually, will stop to appear in Thunderbird.

I didn't tried as much as necessary to check how many events need to be edited individually, but events that happens almost everyday to me that disappears after I edit for some reason several of them (ex: I have a daily allocation for a night appointment, but usually I need to reschedule because of work appointments).
