"unfortunately firefox for android doesn't have this feature anymore" for setting a homepage. Why is 'development' taking features away? FF is starting to suk
Development of a product or tool should NEVER take features away unless they present a continuation obstacle or a security issue. I do not like the "topp sites" because when I come back from travel, my top sites are all related to where i WAS not home or where I am going. I want my FF mobile to work like my FF on my workstation.
Additional System Details
- User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:17.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/17.0
The Homepage ll be available soon in Firefox Android...
Please stop making this promise. There are no immediate plans to add a home page.
Firefox starts up with a light weight native Java UI. At the beginning of startup we don't have a way to render html pages. Using a page requested over the network would greatly increase the time it takes to starup and show the first page.
