My firefox doesn't exit the safe mode even after restarting my computer, how do you resolve this problem?

My firefox window suddenly closed by itself, and then the safe mode window came out! I didn't know what to click on so I just did with the "Continue firefox in safe mode". When I followed the instructions on the help window as to exit from the safe mode it didn't work. So I tried the "stuck in safe mode" page, restarted my computer thrice and it is still in safe mode.
