I am doing schoolwork, typing words in empty spaces, and something has started offering me words when I start to type. I don't want this!
In my schoolwork, we have to type words in empty spaces to practice typing and spelling them correctly. When we submit each page, the system grades them for us. The words are right there on the page. I've been doing this on Firefox since March, but I've had a new computer for a few days now. I don't know if this is a Firefox, Windows, or computer issue. When I start to type some words in the empty spaces, suddenly a little window appears, with a word in it, as if to show me what it should be. The are words that I have been typing in this schoolwork, but they are not what I want nor do I want this feature. It's annoying and doesn't help me learn the words. (e.g., I typed 'v' at the beginning of 'viscous' and was offered 'visceral.' I typed 't' for tachypnea, and was offered 'tertiary,' 'triamcinolone,' and 'turbinates'. When I continued, 'ta,' I was offered 'parietal!' These are all words I have typed in my school program within the last day or two.) This just started happening this evening. Where is this coming from and how can I make it go away?
