After upgrading to Firefox 5, Google is no longer the default location bar search provider. All searches are redirected to ask.com.

This is true with the following setting in about:config: keyword.enabled is true keyword.URL is default

Tried setting keyword.URL to: http://www.google.com/search?ie=UTF-8&sourceid=navclient&gfns=1&q=

but I didn't get the expected result.

After updating to Firefox 5, Google is also no longer my home page search provider. Again searches are directed to ask.com:

Value of browser.startup.homepage is about:home

Google logo also no longer displayed on this home page as it was before upgrade.
