Updated to v3.6.14 and when downloading docs browser hangs!
Firstly; I upgraded my v3.6.13 to 3.6.14 and then when downloading a PDF document my Firefox hung! I used Task Manager and terminated the Firefox process and then tried to start Firefox again but it did not start. I could see that it started a new Firefox process that consumed 32 MB of RAM but did not start. I also tried to start Firefox (Safe Mode) and that consumed about 14 MB RAM but did also not start. I had a few tabs open when I terminated the process as well as the hung download.
I rebooted my computer (Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit with SP1) and got a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) !!!! Shutdown my computer and started it again, this time I didn't get a BSOD and could log in to Windows. Tried to start Firefox with no avail. Again I could see that a Firefox process is started.
Terminated the process again and started FF with right click and select "Run As Admin" and Firefox started !!! I closed the browser and started it again this time without "Run As Admin", all OK I thought and it happened again!
I again tried to download another PDF document from another web site and pointed to save the doc on my Desktop. The PDF was almost downloaded and the browser just hung! This time I waited like a few minutes and then it just released and the document was downloaded.
This is horrible! Any idea why this happens?
