Sync won't install. I've tried several times on both XP and Vista machines, and after install/restart - nothing. No desktop icon, no screen prompts - its like nothing happened. Feels like a waste of time!
How much more detail can I add? I've got Firefox 3.6.8; I've tried to set up Home - but similar experience. I re-open Firefox and everything is exactly as it was. I've downloaded to both my XP desktop (and was charged $1 by iTunes for Sync, even though it's shown as 'Free'!), and - nothing. The download process looked OK, but after re-start, there were no on-screen prompts on restart, no desktop icon, nothing - not even a saved file in 'downloads' - my default location. I'm in the UAE, btw.

Which version of Firefox?
Is Firefox Sync listed in Tools > Addons - Extensions?

Not listed in Tools > Addons - Extensions on PC, but it is on the laptop. Thanks for that - but, next question:
Is the Sync username the same as for Firefox Home - the one I used to reply to this query - or do I need to create another account for Sync?
