Firefox Account email still treated as owned after removal

Hello, I previously had my personal email attached to a Firefox Account. I added other emails, changed the primary email, and then completely removed my personal email from the account.

However, Mozilla still allows login with that removed email and prevents me from creating a new Firefox Account with it.

I need the email login association fully cleared so this email can be used for a separate Firefox Account, while keeping the existing account intact.

Can you please reset/remove the hidden email ownership binding on your end?

Thank you.

To get help with your Mozilla Account you can try and contact them at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/new/mozilla-account/form

Firefox Account has been renamed as Mozilla Account since Nov 1, 2023 to reflect that it is used for multiple Mozilla services and not just Firefox Sync anymore. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/access-mozilla-services-firefox-account#w_what-services-can-i-use-with-a-mozilla-account
