Get an error message with... Error 403: disallowed_useragent ...when trying to sign in.

Message includes: "If you're seeing this error message in Thunderbird for Android's app, you can contact the developer to let them know that their app must comply with Google's 'Use secure browsers' policy." Learn more about this error: https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/7675428
