Removing (see info below) and something (Add-On? Extension?) that I just put on Firefox and now can't find/remember. (I'm an elderly computer dummy.)
1.) WILL IT HURT IF I REMOVE THIS: "Your browser is being managed by your organisation." "Policy Name: Certificates Policy Value: ImportEnterpriseRoots true"
2.) AND: How do I remove it.
3.) Plus: The second question in "Subject: (see above)"
THANKS SO MUCH.

Seeing the "Your browser is being managed by your organization" notification at the top of the Settings page is in most cases caused by security software that uses GPO policy rules (ImportEnterpriseRoots) to inject their root certificate in Firefox to be able to intercept and scan your internet traffic. If they to not inject their certificate then you will likely get an error page that the certificate isn't trusted.
You can click the "Your browser is being managed by your organization" notification or open the about:policies page to see if policies are active and if errors are reported.
