I am unable to remove ABP (AdBlock Plus) extention from my computer

Hi everyone,

i have added the ABP addon into my Mozilla latest version. After some weeks i have disable and remove the extention from my browser without success. I have read a lot of posts about this situation but noting has help me.

I have uninstalled mozilla and install it again but this method hasn't help me. I do also not shown any ads in chrome browser.

Is there and way to remove this trash without reinstalling windows?

Please explain the problem in detail. What happens? What is/are the exact error message(s) ?

Did you try the following? Type about:addons<enter> in the address box to open your Add-ons Manager. Hot key; <Control> (Mac=<Command>) <Shift> A)

In the Add-ons Manager, on the left, select Extensions. Locate the add-on, click on the 3 dots to the right and select Remove.


If there is a problem, Start Firefox using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

I have try everything above without success. I cannot see any installed plugins but when i try to take a search on Google i didn't see any ads and i do also cannot visit some pages cause the abp plugin.

Type about:support in the address box and press Enter. Under the main banner, press the button; Copy Text To Clipboard.. Now in the Reply Box on the forum page, do a right-click in the box and select Paste.

If the data is too big, do not worry. It's the top part we need to look at.
