Did this just start happening out of the blue?

The error "Code signature invalid" sounds like Firefox's program files have somehow become corrupted. Do you want to try to trash Firefox.app and reinstall it? If there are any options to remove data, don't remove it.

I reinstalled it but all my information is gone. And I seem to have two Firefox applications.
